Day 4 - Write a summary of why they are at LPA
After living in America for God-knows-how-many years, Lindy's aunt decided to take Lindy closer to where she was born. It was similar to a coming-of-age permanent vacation and it was time she got to know her own parents. As expected, they decided to send her to school with her older sister, Mara, to get into the feel of England.

Rack after rack after rack.
Lindy was aware of what her problem was. It wasn't only the constant money spending but also her refusal to repeat whole outfits. Both her mother and aunt tried to convince her to sit and figure out new outfits to wear for the upcoming week every Saturday. It was a rather difficult job and Lindy just kept on going, buying every single piece of clothing that appealed to her. You would think she was some hotel heiress or the president's daughter. But she wasn't, and she had to stop.
There had been a list growing of what shops she wasn't allowed in anymore. She had been caught arguing with other customers when they held something she wanted and it was the last one her size. However, she couldn't understand what their problem was. She was buying so many accessories and dresses she assumed they'd be thankful for her patronage. Ridding her head of all her negative thoughts, Lindy headed over to the dressing room with the handful of hangers with their treasures hanging loosely below them. The handles clanged together like charm bracelets on a teenager's wrist. A girl maybe a year older than her looked at her innocently and smiled, before glancing down at the mess Lindy held lovingly. "Uhh, how many?" she asked, trying not to look phased.Â
"Just ten." Lindy replied proudly. Hey, she was being honest and that was actually an improvement since the last major haul. The girl tapped on a framed paper on the wall next to her as if she knew something Lindy didn't. As Lindy squinted at the words, she sighed. "Very well. Can I take five in and bring the others in later?" The employee bit her lip before nodding continually until Lindy sped past her to a stall. Dressing up into a pink floral romper, Lindy laughed at herself. What was the point of even coming in here? It was too much trouble and she knew she was going to buy everything she picked out. So why?
She figured if she didn't do this, it wouldn't make the experience as fun as it is. Now that she knew this information, there was no way she would tell her parents. Shopping was a part of her now and without it, she wouldn't be Lindy, now would she?
After she finished both hauls, she pulled the girl by her sleeve over to the counter to ring her up. Lindy swept up the bags and left the department at peace. It was like breathing air.
