There’s a post going around about how to stop Tumblr eating replies and I just want to share what I’ve been doing. Highlight everything including the person’s URL and change them to small text. It’s been working for me for ages and means that you don’t have to go into the HTML of every reply or every post since Tumblr seems to be eating all the text that someone reblogs,
