The Linked Universe Discord weekly prompt was “Villain” — and this was the idea I came up with!
I drew Dink (Dark Link) while he’s in the middle of transforming into a Lizalfos. His clothes are torn because of the transformation, showing that he’s slowly changing into something else.
A funny thing I noticed after finishing it: he kinda ended up looking like a mix between Dink and Demise, which honestly wasn’t even intentional — but it fits the whole villain theme pretty well. 😭
(I just really liked the idea of giving Dink a more monstrous/darker transformation.)
I still can’t believe we’ve hit 100. That’s absolutely wild. Thank you all so, so much for supporting me and my little comic project this past year. it means everything 🥹

About a year ago, I drew a design for my AU character, Barukan. (Creaty and Ruby already have a redesign!) It was *fine*. It did its job. I thought I was really doing something revolutionary back then, you know how it is.
But looking back at it? It just wasn't hitting right. He didn't look nearly corrupted enough for a former guardian who completely lost himself to a lust for power. So, I completely threw the old design out and remade him from scratch! So here his old designs!!!
Now he actually looks like a proper, menacing incarnation of Ganon. I gave him massive, demonic red wings, a spiked collar, a tattered cape, and that eerie, glowing eye hovering right over his head. You can see the full, finished reference sheet in
I am honestly *so* much happier with this version—he finally looks like the terrifying villain he’s meant to be.

⚠️ Trigger Warning — Mental Health / Fear of Failure ⚠️
Hey… I think it’s finally time for me to open up a little more and tell something that has been hard for me...
I’m still drawing. I’m still making characters. I’m still thinking about my stories and my Zelda AU every single day. But there’s something I’ve been struggling with for around 8 years now: Atychiphobia. The fear of failure.
And honestly… it affects me in ways I can’t always explain properly.
A lot of people wonder why I disappear from writing on Ao3 sometimes, why I stop working on my Zelda AU, or why my comic suddenly gets no new pages for months. The truth is… every time someone accuses me of using AI for my writing, stories, comics, or ideas, it breaks something in me a little.
I always try to explain that I don’t use AI for my creative work. But most of the time, people don’t believe me anyway.
And every time that happens, I feel like I failed somehow.
About a year ago, I even got private messages saying things like:
“I know you like comics but please stop using AI.”
Or:
“Stop using AI or I’ll report you.”
I tried explaining myself again. And again, nobody believed me.
So instead of fighting anymore, I just… stopped creating for a while.
That’s the hardest part about this fear. Whenever I feel like I “failed” at explaining myself, I lose motivation to continue the things I love most. Drawing. Writing. Creating worlds and characters that mean everything to me.
My friend’s account got hacked, and the hacker used it to trick me into getting “accidentally” reported. They told me to contact a fake Discord support account called "alansupport." At first, I believed them—but then they asked me to send something from my bank account, claiming I’d get a refund. That’s when I realized it was a scam. I stopped immediately, but now I can’t log into my account at all.
I’m pretty sure my old account got hacked. I don’t know if it’s still on the server, but if you see or get a message from "kaze.links_crosses_multiverse," BLOCK IT! Don’t interact, or you might be next.
This is how the scam works:
1. They use a hacked account to contact you—so it looks like a friend is asking for help.
2. They claim you were falsely reported and tell you to reach out to “Discord support” (which is actually them).
3. Once you message the fake support, they start asking for personal info—eventually trying to get access to your bank account or other sensitive data.
Don’t fall for it! Stay safe, and block any suspicious accounts.
I’ve attached screenshots—two are from me, and the third is from a friend who went through the same thing. So you know what it looks like!!!
