Portraits of Dogs With Human Expressions
German photographer Ralph Hargarten captured the expressions of dogs, which posses humanistic characteristics over a black background in his project called “A Dog’s Life.” The purpose of Hargarten’s work is to reveal the appointed humanity society gives its beloved pets with clothes and even names through portrait photography. Revealing and chilling, the results disclose vulnerability, seriousness and even sadness behind every dog’s eyes.
