I had a conversation with a dope emcee last night & I must say, we got deep into what hip hop in Hawaii was & what it is today. He said something that struck me in a good way. He stated, "The reason why I don't go around throwing the H up is because all these wack rappers in Hawaii, but aren't from Hawaii watered it down by throwing it up in their videos." As an emcee, I was shocked because he spoke exactly what I didn't know how to explain. Shout outs to Mush Mouf of Fortilive.
