OC x Baldwin IV (from Kingdom of Heaven, not the historical figure!!) / ☦️❣️✝️

I would post it in my art account! But this drawing was made for a fanfic of Kingdom of Heaven. So I will post here.

I used an image as a reference from Pinterest.

Rusticana Komnenos is my OC, she was a princess of the Byzantine Empire related to Manuel Komnenos, she had a arranged marriage to Baldwin IV of Jerusalem when both were only teenagers.

At first, Baldwin was kinda cold and distant from her (due to his disease, and, of course, to his duties and battles). Later, he got warmer towards her; when Baldwin matured he grew fond of Rusticana. She considered him to be the best husband and a God's blessing in her life.

Rusticana was a very good wife, devoted Christian and a decent queen. She took care of Baldwin during his last moments while she was also sick.

She died a little after Baldwin's death by unknown reasons (maybe, due to her own disease's weakness + heartache or she was poisoned).

Rusticana and Baldwin never had children, so I HC they enjoyed taking care of Baldwin's nephew. :)

Greetings, my darling. I am doing good, thank you. I had to go to the hospital to have a check up on me because I was feeling unwell. I did recover.

Now, I've been facing an annoying art block, sadly!

My favorite characters in DUTP are from Queen Marie. The awkward locksmith King Louis XVI and the Boss Spy Lady, d'Eon! Though, I love Chapur and Sinbad from Magic Lamp.

I have other books, but Queen Marie will always be in my heart, haha. I love 18th century France's History.

My favorite ships are
