Why do I feel like ripping my heart out and giving it to someone after watching romance animes. Why can't a gift my lover a ring and tell them that I want to live my life with them forever even though we're dating for 6 months. Why can't I go to a beach and hold their hand and confess my feelings to them. Why can't my lovers in real life understand how choked up with happiness I am after seeing them that I can't even speak a word. Why don't they love me like I love them. Love that consumes me day and night. Lov that makes me want to do anything at all for them. I want a love like that.

i love haikyuu so much. bc it’s just. so cute. i love how many characters there are and all of the useless, trivial information we have abt all of the characters. like how iwaizumi used to collect cicadas, only to let them go bc he said he’d feel bad if he kept them. how yamaguchi likes “long fries that have gone soft and floppy”. how kunimi likes salted caramel. how akaashi wrings his hands. how kuroo just happens to get top grades and slips all these scientific words into casual conversation. kenma’s username on everything is “applepi”. it’s just so cute. i love the character interactions, like when bokuto is looking out of the window in his pyjamas and he says “i’m glad it’s fukurodani who i could play my last match with” and akaashi is like “are u dying bokuto?” and bokuto says “what? i’m going to live until i’m 130″. and when shimizu holds suga’s hands when he’s visibly stressed and suga instantly goes red and swirly and he’s like “pls wait!!!!!! we can’t get married yet!!!!!”. and when kuroo and bokuto knowingly smile at each other and hug after nekoma are eliminated from nationals. when kenma smiles and thanks kuroo for getting him into volleyball and kuroo is like “… … … … … huh… …? … … W-WAIT…” and he covers his face and starts laughing and it’s rly cute. nobody is bad. kyoutani is really scary and only listens to iwaizumi, but only bc iwaizumi beat him at arm wrestling. a cunning, deceitful character like daishou has a rly pretty gf he tries to impress, and when they watch volleyball matches together he gets bashful bc he feels like he’s being a huge volleyball nerd but she calls him cool. i just don’t understand how a series is this cute. they’re all so cute. moniwa is so cute. goshiki is so cute. oikawa teaches volleyball to children on mondays. don’t even get me started on yachi

Also, do not walk close to walls. It will be easier for someone so walk past you and push you against it or corner you.

If your gut is telling you to cross the street or change your path, do it. Don’t risk it. Your body knows.

If you can, buy a large umbrella and walk holding it. Studies say that predators are less likely to attempt an attack on someone that could fight back. Keys around your knuckles is fine but you’ll need to get very close to do damage. Umbrellas are more precise.

Avoid wearing headphones if you are alone on an empty street. Look aware.

Again: Stay. Away. From. Walls.

Entering an uber alone? Call your father (or anyone you trust) and say “hey dad! Yep, I’m almost there, I’m sending you the route.” outloud. Then proceed to send them the route so they can follow the uber drive. This will most likely intimidate the predator.

If you see someone in an uncomfortable or possibly dangerous situation, walk up to them and say “Betty, oh my god, I haven’t seen you in so long!”. If she gets slightly confused, you can whisper and let her know you’re trying to help and that she should follow along. Walk together to another station or away from where you are. The man will most likely not follow. I have done this one 2 times and can be very helpful.

If you are unsure she needs help, you can pass her a note saying something like “hey, I noticed this man beside you is making you uncomfortable. If you’d like help, fake a sneeze right now and I will come up to you and pretend we are friends.” This is a long note, but its an example. Be discrete. If she follows along, proceed with the previous tip. This is helpful when you’re in a crowded train and you notice harassment.

Help your sisters. Trust them. Trust yourself. Be safe.

Just a reminder...

I think people forget that it was Sasuke who established the SNS bond in the first place. He was the one to make the first move in forming their bond that became the base for the entire series. Some examples? He gave his bento to Naruto at the risk of failing Kakashi’s bell test for breaking the rules, when he found out Naruto was training alone (and possibly dead) he became worried and went to go look for him, spent the night climbing trees with Naruto until they BOTH made it to the top, protected Naruto in their fight against Haku, etc. 

It’s because of these instances that I just don’t understand how people can say that Sasuke never cared about Naruto. He was one of the FEW people who genuinely cared about him and understood him. Aside from Iruka, Sasuke was probably the only one who looked at Naruto and just saw Naruto. He allowed himself to be vulnerable around him, opened up to him, and in a lot of ways, I think Sasuke was the one to teach Naruto to love. And to love unconditionally.

It was Uchiha Sasuke, sworn Avenger, who wanted nothing to do with anyone, who was terrified of forming bonds in fear of losing them again, who decided to extend a hand towards Naruto when no one else would. And people wonder why Naruto bothered with Sasuke? It’s because while people like to think that Naruto is full of light and good, it was Sasuke who brought it out of him in the first place. While it was always mentioned that Naruto influenced Sasuke’s heart, Sasuke had just as much influence over Naruto’s. Naruto knows this and that’s what makes him go above and beyond for Sasuke. 

“You showed me love when no one else would, now allow me to do the same for you.” 

Sasuke lit the fire of their bond and Naruto’s wind kept it alive. And I think this is one of the many beautiful aspects of SNS. Regardless of whether you view it as platonic or romantic.
