Brief little PSA about that recent post going around saying that “genderbend” and “genderbent” are trans slurs; as a trans person I can say that I personally, deeply agree with it. It strongly blurs the lines between gender and sex and makes the statement that in changing a characters “gender”, sex is changed along with it and that identification and sex are one and the same. I’m not going to give people grief for using it personally because it’s been such a universally used term and it’s what most people are accustom to, but if you’re looking to change and use a more correct term cisbent (or rule 63, I’ve seen people use that as well) is more appropriate because then identification as well as biological sex are changed and match up. Just “genderbent” in general can be erasing to non-binary peoples and trans characters, so “cisbent” for cis characters is correct and respectful to use if you are looking to be politically correct. (As a side note, if you don’t know what “cisgender” means, it is when a character’s (or a person’s) biological sex and gender identification are the same (ex. a person that is born female, identifies as female.)
its 3:30am and im still drawing genderbent disney stuff.. this is just one of the many things i have drawn tonight x__x
someone unfollowed me for that post. I'd say that I'm surprised but--
#make it an universally known fact in the rp community that genderbend/genderbent is a trans slur 2k15
then maybe I don’t want to be a ℘rince any more !

“I can see that,” crystalline eyes fall to the prince, a gentle smile gracing regal features.
It is a mission of diplomacy that brings the Queen of Arendelle to a land with a climate so drastically contrasting that of her own kingdom. Something about trade routes and other such t e d i o u s tasks. Conversations about which have occupied her since her arrival. Now, given the chance to simply sit and RELAX, she is certainly not about to pass up the offer, even if it was strangely insisted upon by the prince’s parents.
“If you are curious, perhaps I could show you?” she proposes carefully. She was not sure how far word of her… ABILITIES had spread, and though she was still learning to control them without the use of FEAR or hiding, a small d e m o n s t r a t i o n certainly could not be of any harm.
They had not -- at least not in full. News of sorcery coming from Europe has stopped being 'news' a good few centuries ago, so when there had been rumours of an sorceress in the north, nobody really paid attention. Just another story to tell over a drink, and that was all. Yasin himself had not heard even that much, so the possibility of magic didn't even occur to him as the Queen asked her question.
❛ Yes, of course! Did you bring some with you? ❜
A boy grown in the desert of course had little idea of how impossible it would be to carry snow and ice thousands of miles under the burning sun, but the only thing less possible would be for her to show it without physically bringing any with her.

❛ I don't understand -- why can't you just complain to someone? Surely even they respond to someone? ❜
The scene that had laid out in front of the young boy's eyes had sure been a sight to see. A couple of guards had committed a crime that was worth a dismemberment in Agrabah, and Yasin had almost spoken against the treatment before remembering his lack of power this far away from home. Luckily, the woman did not need his help, and Yasin could simply watch her take care of herself before running after her right after he had realised that this was likely not the first time something like this occurred.

At some point, Yasin has stopped keeping track of the country names. It seemed as if every time Yasin was sure that now he had had a princess or two from every country that existed, another one walked through the doors. But as the arrival of the princess of Scotland is announced, Yasin's curiosity is peaked. Not a lot of Latins comes this far to find a husband -- most of them seemed to marry relatives, for what Yasin has heard. With mild interest, Yasin quietly walks to see the arriving company from behind the slightly parted curtains. Wordlessly, he observes his father flatter the other family, hoping that his own presence will go unnotic--
❛ Yasin! There you are, come and greet our guests! ❜
No hope. Reluctantly, Yasin enters the room, almost glad to see that the youngest girl -- the suitor, he assumes -- looks just about happy to see him as he is to see her.

Perhaps knocking over a statue in his room was not the smartest course of action when trying to appear mature and sensible, but it felt good. The ornament falls to the floor, breaking to three large pieces with a noise loud enough for half of the palace to hear, especially at this late. Rajah is nowhere to be seen, probably out in the yard to avoid the anger-slash-frustration of his owned before Yasin could calm himself.
Somewhere behind him, a door opens, and Yasin presses his palms against his eyes to wipe the wetness away from them. A quick glance over his shoulder tells the identity of his uninvited, unwanted visitor, and the prince plumps down on his bed.

No one can understand my internal turmoil over whether male!Jasmine should have the earrings or not.
while I try to figure out screencap editing, can I tempt anyone of you with live action fc starters?

❛ Excuse me — do you see that man there? ❜
It shouldn’t be hard to notice who he means — there is man size of a mountain looking through the people present, clearly after something or more likely someone. One of Yasin’s escorting guards, and one he doesn’t want to talk with right now.
❛ He’s gonna come here and ask about someone. Tell him that you saw the person leaving early about five minutes ago.❜
