I miss posting on here I feel like I could share how I was feeling without judgement. No one on here knows me personally really. which feels safe.
I haven’t posted much lately. My ex and his new girlfriend and some random lady stalked me. I don’t feel safe anywhere even at home it’s debilitating. But I still try to enjoy life as much as I can and work on my home. And have slowly been getting back into film.

hello! i was wondering if you could tell me more ab the place in the pic series titled "roadside prayers"?? was it just a little random hut placed on the side of the road for strangers to enter? was it private/on someone's private property? what town was it near? sorry for all the questions, i just think it's so pretty and cool!! would love to hear the story behind how you found it

Hey sorry this is such a late reply.
I can’t really remember how I found it I think I was with my boyfriend and we were going to a flea market and drove by it and I was like what the hell.  keeping it in the back of my mind but it was already too late to stop that day. So in the next week or so my friend and I are driving around like we usually do looking for houses, graveyards, Really anything that peaks my interest and I was like oh let’s drive over to that thing. And I think at this point I had seen someone else that had been there I’m not sure who. But some bad ass human from Wisconsin. So we stopped and took pictures. It’s literally on the side of the road I don’t think it’s private property and it seems like there’s no one necessarily looking after it but its there on purpose for people to stop at. it was probably one of the weirdest places I’ve been because it hasn’t been taken care of and I don’t know if we were supposed to be there but it seemed like you could be there
I don’t remember what it was near but I think it was like north of the Dells.

My best advice is just to drive around. Sadly the country and smaller towns especially ones that have had businesses close are usually prime!
I always try to go with someone if I can. This also helps because I get a lot of new locations from friends and other explorers. But trust definitely has to be built. Ive seen lots of houses get distroyed from exposure and I’m not talking about the weather. Also if you get caught it means that the houses are usually more locked down. This has happened to me numerous times unfortunately to some of my favorites.

Where do you get your film developed? The only place I have nearby is Walgreens and they don’t return negatives. Do you Wendy ours off somewhere? :-)
Sorry I’m just getting to this. I’m lucky enough that both places I have lived have camera shops that develop. I have had to send some slide film to my moms house to get developed there but that was just cause I was impatient and it ended up taking just as long. I know my friend uses thedarkroom.com and I think it’s pretty cheep and fast. 😊

Montana is great I had only been here like 3 times before I moved here and drove though the city we moved to once. There’s so much to do every town around is so cute and has like really cool things going on even in the winter.
And I still miss parts of the Midwest a ton!!

This was in early January 2019 and we drove around flathead lake with my mom. I went to a great thrift store in polson and a cute antique store with these horses and fluffy puppy’s too.
