L-Email CW200 Wig Mini Review
This wig came in the mail today (4 days after purchase) and I have to say at first I was absolutely irate! Especially seeing as I didn’t order this wig I was pretty pissed off BUT after some e-mails back and forward (all answered promptly, politely and answering all my questions may I add) L-Email Wigs are sending the wig I originally ordered free of charge as well as allowing me to keep this one! I will be reviewing that one when it arrives but in the meantime here is the CW200 “95cm long pink My little pony fluttershy curly cosplay wig”
And in person (PLEASE NOTE I HAVE BRUSHED MY FINGERS THROUGH THE WIG TO PURPOSELY FLUFF IT UP A BIT, IT ARRIVED WITH THE CURLS SEPARATE AS IN THE ABOVE IMAGE)
The wig itself is incredibly soft, far softer than I expected for the price, the only downside to this though is because the fibers are so soft and light the curls are extremely difficult to keep separate but fluff up beautifully and even after brushing maintain quite a bit of curl.
The wig cap is sturdy and well built with adjustment straps. I was very impressed with the cap, much better built than any of my Bodyline wigs, a lot softer and even has a ‘false scalp’ part at the crown where the hair parts (seen in following picture).
Now comes to the part I don’t like :( the negative points… The hair is quite thin at the top and if I part it at the back and split it over my shoulders I’ve noticed initially the tracks show through although with a bit of adjusting it can be fixed quite easily.
I did notice though that one of the tracks wasn’t sewed onto the cap properly and had to add in a couple of stitches myself, no biggie, I mean the wig was $14 after all! The biggest negative though was that it simply wasn’t the wig I ordered and if in a rush for the correct wig for a certain event I wouldn’t suggest this site, in saying that though I had the whole issue resolved within a day and the staff were more than ready and willing to answer all my questions and find a solution. They originally offered me a $10 refund and gifts with my next purchase but rather than getting angry when I refused this offer and asked for them to resend my wig and pay for shipping for the one I received to be returned they sent out my original order and insisted on me keeping the CW200 even upgrading the original wig to priority DHL shipping! So overall 10/10 for customer service (even if they were probably just trying to avoid paying shipping again) XD
Packaging was very good with a cardboard ring and paper stuffing to protect and keep the shape of the wig.
SIDE NOTE: The color is far better represented in the final picture as it was taken in natural light
Overall this whole experience could have been a nightmare but was made better by the helpfulness of the staff and as long as you are prepared for maybe a mistake here or there I would definitely recommend buying from L-Email Wigs especially if you take into consideration quality for the price!
Waiting on my original wig to arrive and will keep you updated, better to not count your chickens before they hatch although I trust they will do the right thing n.n
