How little life may seem, or how it seems to me, if at first you see, this life isn't all about me. Because through it all I've seen it all or maybe that's just me, because I know this isn't all, there is so much more to see. I want much more, don't close the door, please don't give up on me. I know your there, so if I stare, is it you or me? I love my life, I want a wife, but so much more than that. Because without you, I always lose, and wheres the fun in that? So pull the rabbit from a hat, just wheres that magic at? It's faith I have, its trust in you, to pull me from this hell, I trust in you, it's all I do, your like a wishing well. I put my trust, all my disgust, all my pain and tragedy, into your arms, I'm safe from harm, and all the worlds greed. I need your help, I've seen the signs, so don't give up on me. I believe in you, I trust in you, you are everything I seek. But Let's not forget, don't go skipping tests, that's what I need in life. To find my way, now I will pray, that you wont let me be. I have given up, I've been beaten down, I have been down this road before. But in one rhyme, it might be time, my faith in you is restored. I said it once, I'll say it twice, you were always there for me. So keep me safe, I have a place, and for this I know you will. Even when I felt so down, you showed me there's goodwill. I won't place the blame, for that brings shame, I didn't mean to harm, because at the time, I didn't have a rhyme, to make me feel your arm. But maybe it was you, you see, that carried me, the whole entire way past harm. I saw you here, I saw you there, I saw you damn near everywhere, and I felt your warm embrace. I new it was you, who was there for me, when I felt the sun on my face. See I didn't want to believe, even though it hurt so bad, you kissed my scars, as I drove past cars, just trying to get home. When it was you, I saw at the end, even as I write this poem. See there are many ways, for us to see, that God works in a way, he believes in me, he believes in you, he brightens up our day. He makes us see, right through the trees, and in the woods I've heard. But one last note before I go, and leave you with this thought. Is God out there? Of course somewhere. I'm just listening for his words.
