i’ve been in an art funk half-waiting for something to break through or pull me out of it- and this might just be The Thing. i cannot wait to attack people again, i’m gonna be attempting at least one a day!

if i can beat my previous score (32 attacks) i will be beyond pleased but either way, such cool themes! my favourite colours!! what a rush. hell yeah

waaaa BvZ!!

i am both so devastated and yet so happy and excited for this fictional demon’s story. on one hand, i want everyone in the crew to just get along and communicate freely and all that jazz, but on the other hand? not realistic. of course Albus needed to quit! the continuous ‘pretends to be fine’ -> ‘is not fine’ -> ‘emotionally blows up at others’ loop isn’t sustainable for anyone!

i hope he takes the time to pause and reflect and realise some things. but i mean regardless, i can’t wait to see what he does next! even if that’s just looking all cool n walking off into the sunset (…does the sun even set in that direction?)

i’ve been away far too long for my liking. here's an update/ramble under the cut explaining what’s up and where i'm at!

it’s been a while! if anyone’s wondered why, in january my van (that i live in) broke down. i’ve been in and out of hotel rooms waiting for specific parts to be shipped over so the mechanics could actually work on it. this isn’t the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, but it was up there and was rough for my mental health and my motivation, so i’ve been struggling to make anything for a while. didn’t help that wifi was unavailable for a lot of it, too.

van is fixed now, i’m back in it and hopefully no other issues will crop up. (knock on wood)

i’m so glad i managed to finish and get the BRUTUS animation out during all that, but i still intend to make a lot more art to share! there’s so many brilliant people that inspire me in the communities i lurk in, and there’s been so much fanart and oc art i’ve been meaning to contribute. now that i’m finally back, i hope i can work towards actually making it! …and actually posting what i’m confident enough to share lmao

also, Artfight is coming up! and i’m beyond excited for that. i’ll be updating my character profiles as much as i can between projects, and following back anyone who’s following me.

it’s finally done…

my first fully finished animation! i’ve been looking at this thing for so long that i can’t tell if it’s good at this point BUT IT IS FINISHED and i think i’m proud of it, even if i just KNOW that this is something i’m going to look back on and see all the ways i could do better. including the video quality, certainly, but i knew what i was in for when i decided on the static.
