If me and my amazing wife were writing a book together about a duo of superheroes fighting monsters and saving people in a world filled with both whimsy and suffering. And we had originally conceived this AU as a tv show, then as a comic (which we hope to get it adapted into those somedays) and therefore created the storyline with a very visual approach in mind. Would you guys prefer reading that story:

A. As a novel with a very visual style (you can check out my fic Stable Relationships if you need an example of what that means)

B. As a movie script?

Both are really fun so we can't decide which one to go with, so it's on you 🫵 your mission is to help us decide on a style.

There's a certain fandom that doesn't deserve its tv show.

There are flaws, I agree there are some themes that feels less polished than other in the show.

Even when the writer of the book wishes he could rewrite it or at least some parts of it.

Let's be honest the book is lazy. The stories are good but the entire idea of rumors and being "actually we're not sure, this is what history remember" has to be in conflict when the tv show is basically like "we're telling you what happened".

Of course they gotta make shit up, especially when the writer basically say "idk 🤷"

And yeah they made some choices I don't necessarily agree with.

It doesn't mean you have to act like a baby because yes, guess what, in the incestuous family, it's not gonna be just brothers and sisters. Especially when the mother has basically a 10 years gap with her own kids. Yeah, the kid whose mother protected him, held him through his worst moment, at a certain point, in a family where his mother made sure to marry his brother to his sister, he's gonna wonder about his own mother.

So yeah, he is in a love triangle with mother.

Now we can debate if love triangle is the right term, but you weren't complaining about that.
