I feel they are culture appropriating because they don't even know the origin or reason behind the jewelry. For them it's just an accessory. And that's very bad.
I know some might not feel offended by it and some people might. I feel it is the most important to understand a culture first before you make profit out of it. I honestly feel that if they knew the meaning behind then they would talk about it. But they don't know! (And it's not even the first time. Its always Asian cultural appropriation)
If you don't take the time to understand the culture then maybe don't poke your nose in it @littlemix !!!
