Hello everyone, I just wanted to share with you all that I am officially a published poet. Published my book today, and it’s available online for order. It’s called fighting wars in the dark and it means a lot to me. It’s more or less my life’s work, to this point, as I wrote these poems over a long period of time and it’s essentially a memoir of my life in poem form. i’ve been waiting to post my partner’s super sick project & now i finally can!! it’s a customizable 3D birth chart & they would like to make some for anyone interested. please reach out through one of the links below if you are, and repost and share if you think it’s cool :) in the future i may be offering readings alongside the charts they make but for now it’s just the charts themselves. they will also be uploading files for purchase so that people can make their own if they’re familiar with blender. ✨ here’s the video & i’ve attached links below!

while i'm happy that the internet is becoming more accepting of autism and trying to kind of normalize it (that's a good thing!), i just want to remind everyone that it's NOT some quirky personality trait. at the end of the day, autism is still a developmental disability/neurological disorder. it's not "preferring small spoons" or bouncing your leg sometimes. *cough cough* @ tiktok.

autism actually affects every aspect your life. not just negatively of course, but it still makes you disabled. autism is a disability. i can't speak for every autistic person, but here are some of MY examples when autism can be extremely exhausting & disabling:

i have a list in my kitchen with things i can eat. the few foods on the list are the only things i can fucking eat without gagging/throwing up. fuck sensory issues.

i can't drive. i can barely even drive a bike. and when i use my bike, i can only drive routes that i walked by foot before.

i am an adult, and i still need my mother to bring me to doctor appointments, help me with grocery shopping and sometimes remind me to eat.

i have extreme difficulty with maintaining friendships, and keep losing friends due to miscommunication no matter how hard i try. because of this i also gave up on having neurotypical friends.

of course these are just a few examples of how exhausting being autistic can be. what i'm trying to say is that i'm all for autism acceptance (i love being autistic despite all the challenges), but keep in mind that it's not all fun and games. it's not just being quirky. the mostly white low support needs teenagers on tiktok should not be the only face of our community. we need to give more attention to autistics with medium/high support needs, intellectual disabilities, who are nonverbal/nonspeaking, who use AAC (october is AAC awareness month btw!!) and those who are POC!

autism is a spectrum and all of our voices deserve to be heard

my solar return chart this year has sun/venus/mercury in the 5H & leo rising… but moon in cancer in the 12H, jupiter & chiron in the 8H, and pluto & saturn in the 6H… oof

also, on my birthday (december 11th) chiron will go into 11° degrees aries making an exact trine to my 11° sag mercury… while also making a trine (w/ a 2° orb) to my sag mars & leo chiron… okay okay i see u
