I made Stevie a witchy nook from an Amazon box!

Everything except for the table I made from things I already had lying around! Then I also just painted the chest, it was one of those bare ones from Michael’s.

I've tried to make her a little top hat but come up empty. I've been a Fleetwood Mac and Stevie fan since I was little, so when Barbie released her, it was a no brainer for me to nab her!

It began raining (you can see a few raindrops already) just as I went outside to take these photos so they're def not as good as I wanted.

Mulder and Scully

I love that they came with little FBI badges and the ID wallets (not pictured) to show their credentials. My Mulder has really wobbly knees so he prefers to sit or lean against things. Scully's hair is almost as solid as his due to the gel(?) used to keep the style. Part of me wants to brush or wash it out of her hair but I'm worried it'll go poofy.

I've been so busy and got behind in my doll photography and uploading!

I have a lot of fun turning the room into a variety of different places - from living room to tea shop to shoe shop. Give me a bunch of supplies, a glue gun, and you won't hear from me for hours. Days, even.

It's almost time to switch the dolls up and let some other ladies enjoy the fun, and let these ones have a rest.

As a shoe lover, making a shoe shop diorama was my natural next step. I wish I'd posed the dolls a little better, but oh well. They were all clothed in a black and white theme, as not to distract from the bright shoes and bags.

I used MDF wood to make the shoe shelf unit, bench, corner shelves and checkout desk, and thick poster board for the clothing rack.

I had fun hanging up some of the shirts of those free hangers you get with clothing bundles, and realized just how many doll purses I had lying around.

I had some time over the break and returned to another love: making dioramas!

I used thick poster board for the floor and walls, and I left one wall in place via slots so it can be removed should I want to make the room bigger. I got some of that thin MDF wood and cut to make some furniture, although I luckily already had that nice pink table ready to use!

I found Dollar Tree to be great for little crafts/bitsnbobs such as that gold mirror, and I found some mini drawers which worked perfectly. I used that air foam clay for the snacks.

I had little string lights to make it look rather festive and made sure the ladies had their best holiday sweaters on.

I got so behind on my photos and remembering to upload them!

The Faraway Forest collection was so beautiful and I hope I end up with the full set one day. I got so lucky finding these two, priced low because the seller had removed them from the box. However, as an enthusiastic de-boxer, this mattered little since they were in great condition and had all their accoutrements.
