EP 1: Working Mom
[”This mommy shit is no joke. I love my little girl Cyn, but the attitude on her is too much some times. Luckily, when I need to get away my sister is there to help me.”]
Being a mother was supposed to be something she was happy about, but when it got closer to the due date she went through a major change. She was engaged to be Mrs.Williams, but when she was approached by another woman her gut let her know she wasn’t crazy. Passion had suspected that something was up, but to have it right in her face shocked her. Her happy little family was torn apart, and now the two of them co-parent.
[”Everybody knows I don’t have a good track record with men, but when he proposed I thought that all the hurt was over. I was a little over seven months when I found out about the other, and three weeks later I gave birth to Cyn Amora Williams.”]
“Play it back for me.” Passion didn’t let her pain keep her locked in her room, but she did let it inspire good music. Her mixtape, Juicy Mama, was finished so all the new music was for her debut album. With Reggie and her being on good terms she entertained the idea of him being in the studio with her, due to Versace’s blessing.

{One of the songs on Passion’s Juicy Mama Mixtape spoke many languages of her life currently. I don’t pride myself in enjoying the fact that another mans lost is another’s opportunity. That shit played out. The fact that her heart was broken once again, was a hard pill to swallow for me. I learned the hardest way about that. It’s going to be 10 times hard to get her to open up more but I’m dedicated to being by her side this time. Not to get into her heart, but to just earn the genuine friendship back. }
Reggie played it back for her and she went again. Afterwards, he waited for her to come out of the booth so they could have their time. “It sounds pretty good, you know you got to play it back a few times to get it just right. You almost there though.”
There was a shift, “Gotta try not to let your situation take control though. I can tell you holding back on this one, let it out…, you been goin hard off emotion this whole time; don’t hold it in, use it.”
Passion was not trying to talk about her feelings tonight, but was appreciative of him checking in on her. "I know, but you know that sensitive side of me is vulnerable and I just don't want to be that girl that is always singing break up songs." It was going to be evident that she just went through a break up, but to invite everybody into her pain was scary. She hadn't talked much about her breakup, and each day somebody new had a theory. The rapper wanted to raise her baby and move on.
"How was the doctor's visit?" To change the subject was her master skill and she was genuinely asking.
