Official Hiatus

Hello darlings! I’m so sorry to do this but, it’s not terribly hard to guess but I’m going on hiatus! I find it incredibly hard to run more than one blog normally, and now I have exams coming up and well... Here we are! So, my exams end mid-May but I’m going to say that I’m not coming back until around the second week of June just in case seeing as I have a tonne going on. So, yeah. Officially nothing happening on this blog until exams are over! I’m so sorry to do this, but, if you need to reach me, my other blog which I’m not terribly active on either (seriously you should see my drafts) is linked here

Stiles didn’t really remember at what point she fell asleep during the night, though, it wouldn’t have been difficult to assume fairly early on, seeing as Lydia, had, inevitably, chosen the Notebook again. Stiles would never understand where people – mostly girls – got off watching that film so many times in a row... But, hey. To each their own, right?

What Stiles does remember after the brief snippets of seeing (and commenting on) a couple of idiots lying in the middle of the road, was waking up in Isaac’s arms, feeling as if they were on the move. Admittedly, she did mumble a brief ‘whaddyadoing’, but, ultimately, the action gave her two responses – one, laughter. Because most other couples would probably have experienced this on the way to they were now, and, secondly, an overwhelming feelings of safety, comfort, happiness. Honestly, if even a part of her brain didn’t think that snuggling closer to the werewolf wouldn’t risk them falling (let’s face it – a pregnant teenager, 5″3 or not, was heavy) she probably would have. Instead, Stiles just settled for moving so that she was holding onto the front of Isaac’s shirt, and shoulder. Her sleep-heavy brain not even trying to diminish the warm feeling blooming inside her chest.

Scott snorted. “Some people don’t think they’re so hard to find.” He shrugged. “Maybe you’re not even looking at all. Maybe you don’t see what’s right in front of you.”

‘Like Isaac’, Stiles nearly responded but held her tongue. After all, it was true – Scott McCall did, obviously, have charm pouring out of his ass. It was no surprise he was in hot demand. “And what should I be seeing?” She asked, throwing the basketball she’d been holding back at her friend, attempting to pick up where they’d left off.

When he was told that her dad was off in Tampa, he couldn’t help but to smile. It was nice, because it meant the two of them would be able to talk without the fear of being overheard. Once they reached the jeep, Isaac set Stiles down and let her climb into the driver’s seat. He plopped down on the passenger seat himself. He watched her as she sped off.

“Yeah, I thought it might be. Gives us a chance to talk.” He murmured as he quickly buckled his belt. He felt safer that way, especially since Stiles was breaking several speed limits. However, he chose not to comment on it. “I can make you something to eat when we get to yours, if you want to..”

“You can cook?” Stiles asked, her tone deceptively light for someone who was currently clutching the steering wheel so tightly that their knuckles were white. It didn’t take long for her to get back to her home, her car very nearly screeching as it came to a stop. Part of her was surprised that they’d made it back in one piece, and that she’d actually done a relatively alright parking job before it faded away into oblivion. Into the stark white shock that she felt was overtaking her system.

“Why shouldn’t I do it?” She wasn’t sure exactly at which point the words came out. They seemed to be rattling around in her mind, along with the rational answers – both sides firmly laid out for her to see. Both choices as rational as the other, until they felt like they were about to burst, and so they did. Right out of her mouth, somewhere between the car and getting inside, the question came out in a tired, worried, voice that didn’t sound like her own. Stiles didn’t know if she was asking Isaac, or merely just looking for some sort of sign to show her what exactly was the right thing to do.

"Thanks." He said with a little smile as he took the bag from Stiles. He peered into it and saw curly fries and a burger. Isaac picked up the burger. "So- how are you feeling now?"

“Better.” She nodded with an exhale, adjusting herself on the sofa. Ever since she’d started showing, the teen had taken to wearing baggier clothing – it’s not as if her bump was terribly noticeable even with her normal clothing, but, it wasn’t exactly something she liked paying too much attention to, inducing a change in how she was sitting – lotus instead of two bent knees infront of her. “I think I was just seriously hungry.” She admitted with a chuckle, her hand snaking towards Isaac to steal a chip.
