I do indeed offer a variety of style finishes! Basically everything between simple sketches to elaborately rendered scenic illustrations.
The cost vary with the complexity of the subject portrayed, so it's not only estimated by style but also content - but here's a bit of an idea from past examples I've already done:

As you can see background doesn't always translate in the most pricey piece. Depending on what a character is wearing and how far I'm taking the rendering due to lighting, distance or clothing pieces, it can influence the overall price as well.
For that reason I always appreciate when people can give me brief explanations for what they envision and/or reference existing work of mine - that way I can give an accurate estimate!

"Teach me, eh?" Hans climbed over him, leveraging his weight to press Henry's body further into the ground and planting his lips against Henry's brow as he spoke. He traveled lower, a loving assault that ended just below his chin.

The pair of them ambled into Pribyslavitz with the sun bearing down on their shoulders and before the lordling’s belly could begin its complaints. While Hans unburdened himself of his belongings in the tavern, Henry settled down on the bank of the stream. He curled in the sun-dappled shade of the forest’s edge and, when a passing breeze rocked the branches overhead, he watched golden patches of sunlight dance across the grass.
Hans soon returned to him, strutting down the path from the tavern green with a sloshing wineskin in one hand, a half-eaten sausage in the other. Gone were his hunting leathers and his tunic; he was now dressed in a simple linen shirt and hose. Staking his claim on a sunlit patch of grass, Hans flopped down across from Henry and toed off his turnshoes, splaying one leg across the ground, with the other tucked beneath his thigh.
Henry listened as Hans chirped away between bites of meat and sips of wine. He trilled on about something or another - a townhouse in Prague, some landed knight, and a minor lord he knew in the city.
He thought, with some amusement, that if he were a bird, the nobleman would probably think himself some fearsome hunter - a gyrfalcon or a golden hawk. But Henry knew better. He was more like the little sparrows that visited him in the summer - chittering away, happy and incessant, as they rolled around in the dusty ground.
As his gilded sparrow continued to chitter and sing, Henry’s focus was drawn to a single droplet of wine. It had escaped from Hans’ lips in the brief moment he stopped talking to instead drink from his skin’s spout. Like tracking a fleeing hare, Henry followed it as it slipped down, till it disappeared in the pale hair along Hans’ chin and jaw.
When Henry realized Hans had stopped talking, he flicked his gaze away from his mouth and found the man watching him, now looking more like an owl than a sparrow.
“What are you gawking at?” Hans asked him.
“Nothin’,” Henry mumbled.
“Henry,” a playful warning accompanied the grin that split his face. “If you want something, you needn’t hesitate.”
