The 10 minute version of All Too Well is what was originally written for the song before I had to cut it down to a normal length song, because 10 minutes is absurd. That’s an absurd length of time for a song to be. Who thinks they can put out a 10 minute song? I mean, clearly me, but thanks. That’s what you’ll get and that’s the thing I’m most excited about because it’s the original lyrics.

So another role Lea Michele has lost

tbh I really hate this narrative.

Lea has never actively vied for any of these role if she had, the same articles talking about her not getting the roles would also mention her auditioning for them, which none do.

Similarly people are poking fun of her with expectation that she's pissed or going to lash out, but has she? No. She been nothing but supportive.

All the news outlets and people poking fun of her are all ignoring her message of support to Beanie. And are also ignoring that when Lauren Ambrose was cast as Fanny Brice back in 2011 for Funny Girl Lea also publicly supported that casting (If I remember correctly the show never actually happened).

I get that Lea's now on the cancelled list but its incredibly ironic that people are judging Lea for her past actions while also actively ignoring the parts of her past that were supportive of these same moments because it suits their narrative. And that's why cancel culture is the wrong form of correction in this day and age.

The hurt she caused meant something and that gets negated and ignored and turned into something else because people are using pettiness to get back at her, which is not helpful in anyway for anyone to learn from or to understand. And I don't mean for Lea to learn or understand, I mean people looking into the situation and seeing that no one is taking it seriously because the chance to write a scathing and petty 142 character tweet outweighs the bigger cultural issue. Which for the record isn't the roles Lea isn't even auditioning for.

Everything aside from the pattern and the levels got HUGE GOEs for P/C and istg I don’t get it, the curve lift is not better than what the rest are doing, the patter was shaky af, the partial wasn’t that great and got perfect scores. SIGH.
