i love how madara has this like genuine respect for other ninjas with greater powers than him like he admires hashirama so much for his powers and u never once see him resent him for being stronger than him. hashirama is also just generally very special to him i guess but with gai too like he was like "wow! ur tai jutsu, damn gorl. that was amazing, u got any more of that? 😏" jcfddg like madara is pretty conceited about his own powers too like he basically thinks he's god at that point but it still doesnt bother him to acknowledge other peoples' powers. he's got like a genuine respect for the craft i guess, he's like: gotta give credit where credit is due
