In this food lab, we connected it to Multicultural Foods around the world. We chose countries around the world that are very new to us chose a dish and prepared it for the first time. I decided to Nasi Goreng from Indonesia , in other words Indonesian fried rice. The inspiration behind this food was to learn a new method of making fried rice other than what i know. My inspiration was successful because i liked this method better because of the simplicity and ingredients, it also tasted ten times better than how i used to prepare it before. If i was to prepare this dish again, i would love to use sweet soy sauce instead of dark soy sauce to see if it really differs from each other. I would also make sure my rice is a bit harder than it was in this lab☺️.
