My oil painting of Fried Rice
drawing whatever i feel like in order to get back into drawing regularly 4 - shrimp fried rice
Steak fried rice your whole family will love
so you're telling me . . . .
every time i fry rice it sticks to the pan, no matter how hot i get it. Same problem with udon. Stove is electric so I can't exactly get a wok. Am i cursed or is there a way to improve?
You don’t need a wok, or a gas burner.
Make sure you USE ENOUGH OIL and GET IT HOT BEFORE ADDING RICE and actually DRY OUT YOUR RICE before frying it.
Sometimes sticky rice is from being too wet to start, or piling too much into the pan so it starts to steam itself instead of frying
Follow along w this guy, it’s the method I use in my own cooking. I also don’t use a wok due to having an electric stovetop, I just use a WIDE flat frying pan, using the largest burner on HIGH, and when I’m frying rice I keep it in a thin spread out layer so the steam can evaporate fast.
