I’d like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who popped by mine and Josh Hurley’s print stall in Leeds and Manchester this weekend. We had a lovely time earning pennies to put towards our first home together. Thanks to Sean Mort and Carley Batley for making Northern Craft in Leeds such a roaring success. Also, cheers for the ham sarnie. You winners. Josh and I will be at Renegade London next. See you guys then!
A recent illustration for Brides Magazine. A joy to work on!
It’s the hottest day of the year so far and all I can think about is ice cream. Creating this print was just an excuse to dream about flavours that I wish I could eat every day. All day. Like right now.
Ice cream print available here.
New Food Cart series based on all the delicious food I encountered on my travels to Texas in early 2016. A5 and A3 heavyweight prints available - 300gsm white recycled paper - premium recycled finish with a textured look. I hand draw all the elements of my illustrations and use indian ink and brushwork to create the tones in monochrome. Colour is added digitally to ensure that the illustrations are bright and beautiful.
First Class UK Shipping and Tracked International shipping available. Tracked International shipping is recommended for overseas postage.
These lovely ladies are now for sale in my online shop! I've uploaded lots of new designs to my Etsy store.
(More artistic heroines to follow soon.)

I've had lots of enquiries about the Amsterdam print I created last year. So many people have asked if they could purchase it as a print. I've altered the illustration a little and it's now available to buy. Sorry you had to wait so long!

Ink drawings from my sketching trip to Kew Gardens at the weekend.
Where's your favourite place? Is there anywhere in particular that means something to you? (A little bit of my heart will always belong to Falmouth, Cornwall...)
I'm teaching a personalised map workshop this Sunday at Dot to Dot Gallery in Letchworth, Herts. I'm offering budding artists the chance to document their favourite location. I'll guide you through the illustrated map process and advise you on how best to illustrate your special place.
We can sip tea, eat cake, natter and draw. Bring a print out (or screenshot on your phone!) of the rough outline of your location. We won't be aiming for acute geographical accuracy... We will be creating an artistic impression of the area which I hope you'll treasure forever :)
Any questions, just ask! Alternatively, contact @Rhapsode for more details.
You can book your place online here.
I’ve really enjoyed working in monochrome recently. These dancers are from a recent project with Lonely Planet.
I created nearly 200 illustrations for ‘The Cities Book’ which will be published by Lonely Planet in Autumn 2016.
- I created this map for a lovely couple in Wisconsin to celebrate their wedding day
O is for Orangutan
- My etsy shop is open again after a short break. You'll find a few new floral products in amongst the regulars...
I recently finished this wedding invite illustration for a lovely London couple. The image celebrates their marriage as well as their culturally diverse heritage. Congratulations Gloria & Matt.
- I'm planning a series of illustrations based on my heroines. First up, Frida.
