Rules/About

Since I’m starting to cautiously interact with more/new people since my comeback.

Hi and welcome. This is a semi-selective multimuse rp blog for various characters- primary muses currently Kenai (Brother Bear) & Dallas Winston (The Outsiders). I don’t have a ton of rules/don’t have the ability to make separate pages right now, so important info below:

1. Mun is 28 and married. For my comfort, I will only write with other muns who are 25+ and female. Please do not interact or follow if you do not meet this criteria.

2. All ships on this blog must be M/F.

3. While I am okay with writing romance and intense action, this blog is SFW. I will fade to black if it comes to it, and fights/extreme injury/goriness will be skimmed over. Mentions of alcohol, cigarettes, and various violence may occur on the blog.

4. I do tend to reply very quickly within a day or so. Writing is definitely my me time, typically at the end of almost every day, and responding quickly allows me to really get invested in our stories (I’m also very spur of the moment on replies, and don’t plan things out much). HOWEVER, just because I enjoy replying quickly most of the time, please know that I never expect my partners to match that :). I do love to chat ooc, and will message you a lot if we form a friendship— please know that I am awkward and just trying to be friendly, I will never pester people for a reply/messages in the DMs should never be taken that way. If you’d rather just write/not have me talk to you ooc, please let me know :).

That’s really about all I want to post publicly for me. Now for the muses— I have over a decade of rp experience and have had tons of muses in that time. You never know who may pop in for a visit. For right now, my main muses are:

Kenai Nicolai Chilkat (Brother Bear)- I am totally willing to play Kenai in his canon or in au worlds, in human or bear form (and I even have aus where he can shapeshift). I do blend him into many modern fandoms, since there’s not a whole lot of circa ice age rp XD.

Outsiders Characters- canon is 1967, but I am willing to bend timelines a bit/use modern elements/etc to fit into other fandoms. Obviously, anything post canon Dally & Johnny are divergent and my take on them.?

Dally didn’t know how he’d ended up here. It was a party or some kind of celebration at her work, and she’d invited him, but why he’d said ‘yes’ was beyond him. They weren’t even a couple.

Dally hated everything about this— the suit, the hair gel, the dress shoes, the bougie lights and decor, the champagne, and the pompous people who he had no business being around. Everything about this screamed for him to get out as fast as he could— he didn’t belong. Though he’d never admit it, it all made him very uncomfortable, like he was on a stage and everyone was looking at him—wondering how long before he screwed up, or why filth such as himself would even dare step into such an elegant event.

And yet, as music slowed, despite everything, it just seemed like the thing to do. Approaching her from behind, he leaned down to her ear— even in her heels, he was significantly taller than her— and whispered, “dont grab the mace.” A chuckle and grin spread on his lips as he got her attention, “may I have this dance?” It felt weird to ask that— so proper and gentlemanly.

"That we can agree with, can never go wrong with pizza. Thing is that sometimes it doesn't hurt to try new things too." Margo replied with a smirk as she briefly followed her his gaze towards the food and drink area. It was rare that coming to places such as these where the food and drink options were worth paying for. Margo may seem like a health nut at times but she would never turn fown good food or a decent drink.

Why did suddenly his talk of him wooing ladies made her feel a certain way? No it wasn't jealousy, of course not that would be silly and ridiculous. Besides if he could dally could have his pick of girls. Although he can be a bit much with his mouth and lack of manners but there are moments when she sees past that and saw the down to earth side that she finds that she liked being around. While some other men she would be with would be too busy being into themselves, having big egos and always having to push how successful they are. Dallas was a nice change from all that.

"Ladies or do you mean college girls? Cause there is a difference between the two cowboy." She lightly teased back.

It took a moment for Dallas to get in rhythm with her, he was doing quite well although he nearly stepped on her toes but she moved her foot away just in time. She had to admit that he smelled good. Just as his appearance was making him less boyish and more like someone she didn't notice before. "You'd be surprised how many people still read those things. Thanks to the readers we would never have been successful. As corny as that sounds, I feel like I accomplished something by being apart of this event." Were his eyes always that striking up close? Great now she felt like a one of those women in a rom com movie.

"Um, no It wouldn't be weird" When he moved a strand curl from her face her cheek flush by the bold move. This was like a different person yet he still looked the same. He never would've done thing with her days again. " well I was the first to compliment you so I think we are even. Also to be honest this dress has been in my closet forever, figured it was time to wear it finally."

“You just say that because there’s no pizza here.” Dally quipped, “Although… don’t be surprised if there’s a Little Ceasers in the fridge when you get home.” Grinning, not just at his own playful banter, but also the fact that that word had fallen from his lips so easily. Home. In all his life, Dally didn’t think he’d ever truly had that before. Yes, he’d had roofs over his head and friends that were like brothers that he stayed with most of the time but… their home had never been his. Nothing had ever been like this before. With Margo, and all her annoying habits and neat freak little idiosyncrasies, Dally had come to see her in a… unique way. Like an older sister, sort of. But… with her, up in that too fancy apartment, he felt home. Safe.

“Does it matter if I’ve ended up with a drink in the face from both?” Dally had never been in love. Sure, he’d flirted a lot, had casual flings, and even a couple steady girlfriends, but never in love. If he were honest, he doubted that he ever would be. It just didn’t seem like the kind of thing that would happen to him, and he wasn’t entirely sure he’d even be built for that kind of life- or commitment- anyways.

A look crossed his face that said he wasn’t entirely sure he’d even believed her statement in the popularity of newspapers, but he wouldn’t fight it. After all, they were here, so maybe there was a grain of truth to that somewhere.

“Well, then,” he smiled easily, even if there was an uncharacteristic shyness behind the grin, “you look beautiful tonight, really.” Swaying with her to the music a couple more moments, he couldn’t hold back a snark of a comment when it presented itself. “Maybe, if you wore it more often, you’d get more dates.”

“Of course, then I’d get a lot less sleep— waiting up and all.”

Dally watched the girl, confused. She didn’t seem interested in a dance, nor really the drinks. And she was so… timid. Too timid. Dally was a flirt, had a record, and quite the reputation. Normally, he didn’t care what women thought about him or how he was perceived, but this girl— something about her screamed that needed protecting. He didn’t even know her name, but he was drawn to her. It was like she needed protecting.

In all of a second, and he wasn’t sure why, Dally decided that he wouldn’t make any advances on her. Instead, for whatever, he wanted to hear her story.

Crossing his arms, he grinned, glad that the music wasn’t super loud. “Tell you what,” he started, piecing Hazel eyes trying to connect to hers. Dally hadn’t realized it before but, dang, the girl was small! It just made that whole ‘needing protection’ thing more prominent. The bad thing— Dallas Winston usually didn’t look out for anyone but himself. Usually. “Let’s go get a Pepsi or something, and get you to calm down. Then we’ll get you back to your family or wherever you came from.”

it has become clear to Valerie that many people do not know what to make of her in general . she was not the most normal of people when it came to interactions , not necessarily doing so incorrectly , just perhaps not behaving in the same way others would ; this can often times leaving others conflicted on how to feel about her . as someone who could not dance for the life of her , nor was she one to drink , both choices did not appeal to her in the moment . however , she always strives to be polite as can be , so she does not wish to blatantly refuse any suggestion he offers her . he had been kind enough to ask her , and he did still have the want to interact with her after she possibly ruined his day by him having to rescue her ; she should be grateful he still wishes to even talk to her in the first place after all this trouble she put him through . another thing she is well aware of is how shy and skittish she is in general , and this can also be something most did not wish to deal with ; so to speak , she knows she will not be everyone's cup of tea as the saying goes .

his effort put into engaging with her was confusing to say the least . as someone who did not grasp how others courted members of the opposite gender , she just was under the impression he was being extra nice to her for some reason . it comes off as him actually wanting to see her , and the sheer fact she was being perceived and is not as invisible as she once was is terrifying for her . this came with the question , what did he really want from her ?

the expression he is giving her makes her a bit nervous , Valerie fidgeting a bit where she sat . the puzzled feeling she has towards him and this situation merely grows , her head slightly tilting to the side . the good thing is they can converse without having to yell at one another , as the background noise is not too loud as to prevent such conversation . she finds herself drawn to his eyes , the shade being attention grabbing for her , along with his whole demeanor ; especially when he was packaged in with his towering height , his stature simply commanding attention . compared to him , she had to crane her head back to meet his gaze , even where she sat atop the bar stool .

" this was the third think he asked of her , valerie finally agreeing to something . he was right , she did need to calm down and settle her nerves ; she was always so uptight , and it was clear he meant her no harm . he had asked something of her multiple times , so this has to mean he still wants her company ; right ?

Dally flirted with all kinds of women—tall, short, fat, skinny, greaser girls who were tough and a bit ‘trashy’, girls from the rich neighborhoods on the other side of town who often threw drinks in his face or kicked him. Dally had talked to loud girls, quieter girls, dumb ones, smarter ones. It didn’t really matter to him. Most chicks knew who he was, knew his reputation, and that usually ended one of two ways. 1, smarter girls would stay away from him or 2, they might have causal flings but nothing serious. Dally had only ever been serious with one girl- Sylvia- and he didn’t really think that was too serious. They saw each other steadily in between cheating on one another and alternating time in the slammer. Dally hadn’t seen her in 2 years, though, since their last break up. She’d been a greasy girl— loud, mean, too much make up, and a record herself downtown.

Though he never really had thought of himself as one to ‘settle down’ or have a ‘type’, Dally was drawn to good girls- quiet, smart, studios, sweet. Girls that were WAY too good for him. It wasn’t like he’d actually mean anything to them or marry them, but he did find them intriguing— usually harder to get— which made the chase more fun. Plus, it wasn’t always fun to make a daddy upset. Physically, she fit that description to a tee.

“Dont talk much do ya?” Dally observed after ordering a drink— a regular Pepsi just as he’d suggested, and a side of fries.

Dally blinked, his eyelids heavy and vision blurred. The temples of his head were throbbing and, despite a lack memory or understating of what had led to this point— Dally knew where he was, he hated these places. Hospitals. They were too clean, too sterile, and they gave him the creeps. In his life, he’d wound up in one more times than he cared to count, but they always brought back memories of death now. Of a lost friend, of lost pieces of himself. The obnoxiously bright lights and rhythmic beeping from the monitors confirmed what he already knew.

As he became more aware and coherent, there was something new that hadn’t happened before. Someone was there— he wasn’t alone. “What are you doing here?” Dally recognized her immediately- the tiny, pretty girl from the street corner and the bar. Shifting his weight, or at least attempting to, he found himself restrained by the metal cuffs attaching his wrists to the bed rails. Of course. That tracked— combined with his legal issues and attacks he’d made- verbally and physically- towards medical staff before, this wasn’t the first time he’d been tethered to the rails for ‘public safety’. The thing most people didn’t realize, though, was the the excessively violent parts of himself had died along with Johnny. Now, he was just…. Lost.

Leaning back on the pillow, he sighed. Here he was, tethered to a hospital bed with no memory of why. Dally was vulnerable, and the bad boy persona he so often wore seemed to melt away, as he glanced up at her. Behind his piercing eyes, there was an almost vulnerable confusion that made him seem much like the 19 year old boy he actually was than than hardened criminal he tried to be. “Well, since you’re here— wanna fill me in on what’s goin’ on? Or what happened? ‘Cause I don’t remember anything leading up to’ he waved his arms around “this.”

After she had woken up with a splitting, sat up on her bed as she saw dallas waking up at the same time. They seemed to be having way too much fun last night and from what her only memory was of them laughing and drinking. Until she saw a wedding ring on her finger. Her eyes grew wide before glancing at his direction.

"What the hell!? How did this happen!?" She raised her voice in a panic while putting up her hand to show him the wedding ring.

Dally tried, squeezing his eyes shut, to remember— anything really. “We’re sure this isn’t a fever dream?” How could he not remember getting married!? Cracking jokes wouldn’t change the facts, but it also certainly didn’t do anything to solve anything either. Just like everything else, life was a lot more fun with humor.

“Well,” he pushed himself up to a sitting position on the bed. Taking another glance at his ring- he found that he didn’t necessarily hate the added weight of it or the way it rubbed against his other fingers. It was stupid and, he’d never voice it aloud, but it almost felt like—a promise… to never be alone again. To have someone who cared whether he was alive or in a ditch or locked up. Even if it had been some kind of drunken accident— it was nice to imagine.

“Look, it’s not like it’s that big of a deal, right?” He threw his hands in the air— shaking any invisible issues away. “We can just get a divorce. Don’t worry— it’ll be amiable and I won’t fight for anything.” He smirked, “though, I’m sure even a portion of your apartment or car would have me set for life.” Of course, he didn’t mean that. Whatever they’d done, it had been an accident and she was one of the very few people on earth that Dally respected enough to not try to con over. “No kids or property or anything-should be easy as pie.” Pausing a moment, he raised a brow again, “unless you like being married, and just can’t stand the thought of undoing this perfect union.”

The shattering glass startled Adam, and his spine bristled straight up at his writing desk where he’d been reading over papers. “Whos there?” He called out, not necessarily afraid, but definitely startled. Nobody should be in his room at this hour, but maybe one of the children had gotten scared and needed him to talk them down or comfort them. Nevertheless, he gripped his cane—just in case.

Bluebird froze in place. She had not meant to knock over the glass cup. Her heart was in her throat. It baffled her, however, that he didn't just... Get up and find her. He stayed where he was. Calling out.

Then she saw his hand go to a cane. Her head tilted.

He couldn't see her.

"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to knock the cup over..."

What was she doing...

“That’s alright.” Adam replied calmly, “accidents happen— we’ll clean it up.” As he got to his feet, his fact contorted slightly in thought. Usually, he was very accurate in his ability to identify his students by voice, without them identifying themselves, but this voice didn’t sound familiar

“I’m sorry to ask again, but who’s there? I’m having trouble pinpointing your voice.” This wouldn’t be rude at all, the pupils in the school were blind as well. Their senses helped them navigate and interact with the world— but sometimes, there were questions that required an answer. Moving swiftly across the room, he pulled a broom from a closet. “Now, we’ll get that cleaned up in no time.”

Dally had grown up in rough streets and ‘poor’ didn’t even begin to describe his home life—if it could even be called that. It wasn’t too often he was able to help someone out—not that he ever typically wanted to. Dally wasn’t entirely sure what he felt about the idea of fate, but it was getting eerie the way he’d kept bumping into this girl.

“Here,” he offered the item in his hand. A small grin toyed with his lips. Dally barely knew the girl, but he liked her enough— which was more than he could say for most people. She was small, pretty, and awkward… and she was t afraid of him. There was an innocence and sweetness to her that Dally had only ever seen in Johnny- the type that seems so fake, but isn’t. It baffled him— how and why could someone be so good when life could be so bad? It intrigued him.
