She opens and closes her mouth, suddenly at a loss for words. "And we are!" She exclaims suddenly, feeling her cheeks getting warmer. "I.. I was just feeling kind, suddenly. Can't I do that? Can't I be nice sometimes?"

               “right!” teddy immediately says, almost speaking over her. “right, yeah, of course. i mean – thanks, i…” he can feel his hair going full-on pink. “of course you can be nice, i was just… kidding. i was kidding, emily, sometimes i do that too.”

"I am NOT a kitten, Teddy! Honestly, I could punch you right now." She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. "Maybe I don't like to share. Maybe I'm a masochist who wants her bully just to herself. That's you, by the way. You're a bully."

           “you could, yeah, but we both know you won’t,” he replies immediately, in the most casual manner. his brain immediately sparks into attention once more, however, at emily’s following statement. “i- is that so? you don’t want to share… me?” he needs to make sure because for some reason it feels slightly awkward, his pinkish hair tells him so. “c-cause i though you… i mean, i thought we were discussing not sharing this… other, bloke. not me.”

            she is not willing to let go of him, really – although she briefly wonders how long can the hug be without it becoming awkward. ❛ well — you can tell people that i missed you a lot, if that will pet your ego. but don’t get too used to it. ❜ 

                   “i’ll tell people you missed me so much you could hardly let me breathe when you saw me,” teddy snickered. “but that’s okay, you can say i’m clingy,” and placing a peck to her temple, the boy finally pulled away slightly. “so, how have you been?”

"Give me detention and you will regret it for the rest of your life." She warns him, presenting him with one of her most glorious glares. "You know I am a very dangerous person, Teddy. Don't even dare." She doesn't keep an upset expression for long, though, ending up shrugging again, sort of amused. "Maybe I didn't feel like sharing. Maybe I don't like sharing, have you thought about that?"

              “oh, you sure are, kitten,” he mocks her, a smug smirk on his face. however, the expression almost immediately morphs into an annoyed frown accompanied by no less than a small pout. “why wouldn’t you share with your best friend? that’s just plain rude.”

He is a wonderful boy. He reminds me quite a lot of a young Remus, but he has quite a few traits of Tonks on him, too. It’s a perfect mix, I reckon. He is lovely, very caring and sweet but also a bit sarcastic and rebellious. Emily and him have been inseparable since the moment they met and that makes me happy - I know they are good infuences on each other (pranks and mischief aside, of course).
