“Yeah, it is. But they’re pretty cute,” she agreed with a laugh of her own. “Because it is home silly. Are we gonna be roomies this year?”
“I will have to google what they look like now.” She nodded. “I hope so. If I get someone else I’m staging a protest. I think we might be picking our rooms this year though so everything should work out well.”
“Right?! A capybara is a large rodent the size of a pig native to South America. Interesting, or weird, fact about them, they eat their own poop because they need the bacteria it contains to help with digestion,” she said very matter-of-factly. She smiled at the compliment, loving when people said that. It meant a lot to her. “Thanks. I hope so.”
“So they eat their poop to help with digestion which basically means they eat their poop to help them with pooping? That’s quite ironic.” She chuckled. “I’m so happy to be back in the Kappa Gamma house. It feels like being home.”
“Aaliyah!” She smiled and hugged her back. “Hello you. Well, thank you.”
“Oh my God. Summer break was so long without seeing you. What did you get up to?”
“Maybe if I wore leggings? But it’s way to hot to be wearing those.”
“You could get one of those shapers for the ass, but that would also be hot. Maybe just do the old fashion thing and eat a bunch of food.”
“Wimp,” she teased, laughing. “Well, not that much surprisingly. I just volunteered with my dad at the clinic. We had some bearded dragons to take care of which were cool. And one of the other vets brought a capybara by for this little thing they always do for kids and families. It was pretty cool. It almost came to my knee.”
“Hush you.” She laughed. “Bearded dragons are definitely cool. Capybara? I’m gonna pretend I know what that is. You’re gonna make a great veterinarian. You’re so good with animals.”
“My ass is nice, isn’t it?”
“Natasha! I’d know that ass anywhere.” She grinned, hugging the girl tightly. “It’s very nice to look at.”
“I mean, there’s nothing there but thank you?”
“You’re welcome. Maybe it’d look better in a different pair of pants?”
“What? Of course I didn’t take a picture of your ass....”
“You’re supposed to be on my side here!” Darcy teased her friend, hugging her back. “That sounds awesome. I’m sure you were the best one in the group. Of course you missed me. I’m awesome. I missed you too.”
“I’m always on your side...except when it comes to snakes.” Aaliyah winked, laughing. She was happy to be back. “You know. I’m glad we missed each other. What kind of wildness did you get into this summer?” She teasingly asked.
He grins, putting it in his phone, “see you later”.
“Be ready to keep up.” She smirked. “See ya.”
“Then give me an address to pick you up or a number to tell you where to meet me”.
“You can swing by the Kappa Gamma house to pick me up. But here’s my number as well.” She proceeds to read off her cell number.
“I was actually wondering what you were doing tonight? Considering going out, getting fucked up..coming home and getting more fucked up…you in?”
“I’m so in. I need to get some more partying in before classes officially start again.”
“So a friend of mine just bought me some M&Ms! You want some?”
“Yes! Give me some. I’ll never turn down candy. Ever.”
“My summer was spent working in my dad’s office and trying to convince my mom to add to my little pet zoo with a cute little garter snake. But apparently she draws the line at snakes. How was your summer?”
“That’s cause your mom is so smart. No snakes. Anything but snakes Darcy. My summer was fun. I participated in a summer program with the American Ballet Theatre and then did some traveling. I missed you though.” She replied, pulling the girl into a hug.
