An attempt to answer the age old interview question "What happens when you type google.com into your browser and press enter?"
Holy crap is this in-depth. Sometimes software development feels like an endless uphill battle, especially in web development. There are just so many things to learn, with new languages, frameworks, and protocols popping up all the time.
It’s why I got into software in the first place, but for anyone just starting out - remember that there is no ‘end goal’ of fluency if you’re working on the web. It’s like being tasked to learn every human language in the world, including the dead premodern ones + a general understanding of emogi speak.
Perfection can’t be done, but after a lot of time and practice, you’ll gain more knowledge than most. And that extra knowledge means it will be a whole lot easier to pick up new skills when you need them.
