Why I don't like meeting new people
Because this one time I somehow befriended a girl and she was nice, one of those overly-trendy types but she meant well and I liked that about her. Also she wore sick red lipstick and I wanted to know where she bought it. Then we made arrangement to go to an Asian vegetarian restaurant. The food was sick and conversation was flowing considering we'd never really spoken properly before. Anyway so that was cool, we finished our meals and we paid. Well, I paid. I paid because I felt was necessary because she'd recently moved to Melbourne and had many more expenses than I. This is when I realised our hang out was pretty much a non-romantic date. I awkwardly waited for her at the train station and was nervous about what I looked like. We sat across at dinner, making light conversation and as soon as I found a conversation I could at least pretend I was interested in, I delved in to it. Flinging conversation around that I'd merely picked up from tumblr "Oh yeah I really like that film, the way Leonardo DiCaprio acts is excellent, I mean the film just smoothed from beginning to end.. I was a twat. An a-grade twat. We spoke about how we'd catch up again and left with an "I'll text you." Well we didn't, we never spoke again and she moved to Europe. It was then I realised "Goddamn, I am such a desperate fuck." (Think, Holden Caulfield, goddamn..) I'll probably never post again on this blog, I suppose. I've nothing to whinge about anymore. I don't even know why people still follow me. Such fools, I'm such a bore. Catch ya on the flipside.
