Getting ready for the final tumble, which will take the longest — 5 days or so. Approx 12-13 days from stone to gem 🤩

Gab looked up at the North Star’s steady glow. “We’ve grown stronger, smarter, and kinder. Wherever this path leads next, we’ll face it together.” With fresh determination, the two otters stepped forward beneath the silent guide of the night sky.

The moon slipped behind drifting clouds as the otters wove through deep riverbeds, the water rising cool and soft around their ankles. Fireflies flickered overhead, guiding their paws along the mossy stones, while the gentle hiss of reeds whispered secrets of the forest. Every bend in the river felt alive, as though unseen creatures watched and silently cheered them onward.

By dawn’s first blush, the sky bloomed pink and gold. At the river’s fork they paused, puzzled by two winding channels that curled like question marks. Just then, a family of beavers emerged from a timber lodge tucked against the bank, their flat tails patting the mud in greeting. “Lost your way?” the eldest beaver asked kindly, her whiskers twitching with warmth.
