⤷ Hello everyone! This is a blog dedicated to BTAS Jervis Tetch, my f/o. I will reblog my favourite posts of him, publish analyses / writing of his character and occasionally draw artwork of him.

⤷ While I would consider myself a non-sharing selfshipper, I'm pretty lax about it! I love seeing other people's artwork, and I'm a huge fan of oc x canon! You're more than welcome to interact with me about it.

We also need to acknowledge he never wanted to control Alice. He literally just wanted her to love him. Quite literally he says when thinking of forcing it "no, then she won't be Alice anymore" he wanted her to love him BY HER CHOICE

As this post so excellently puts it, Jervis' depravity lies in the fact that while he wished for her to love him by choice, he still went ahead with removing her autonomy instead of accepting that her heart belonged to another.

Had it not been for the Batman's interference, he would have rather seen her soulless and his than happy with someone else. He does experience guilt over this at times, but again, it's only remorse over the unreality of Alice falling in love with him by her own volition.

With all the Funko Pop! figures there are for Batman: the Animated Series, am I the only one upset there isn’t one for the Mad Hatter? Jervis would make the cutest figure! I would buy that TODAY if I could! I mean, you’ve already got one of Scarecrow, why not include his chess-buddy?!
