MILK AND HONEY.
#PAAAAAIIIIIIIIIINNNNN
you never quite know what lonely means until the person who made you feel alive leaves your life forever.

love is a 2 am call just to make sure they made it home safely.

Brown eyes are seen as normal - typical, even. Not sought out or wanted. But not these eyes. You can't help yourself but stare at them, waiting to be consumed by the deep pools of sunshine and honey. Peace washes over you as you continue to explore their depths, enjoying the twinkle of sunlight that brighten the darkest parts of them. And when the sun ceased to shine, they seemed to suck all the radiance from their surroundings; becoming as endless and awe-inspiring as the darkest night sky. When you finally tear your gaze from theirs a deep sadness washes over you, because no matter where else you go, you will never see the same shades of the dark-brown-and-gold-eyed stranger again.
People say that all brown eyes are the same - these proved they were all wrong.

why is it that you tend to hold on to people who aren't good for you?
because you are scared that no one else will top them. that without them, you will feel worthless. insignificant. not worthy of love.
when in reality, you are worth so much more.
don't search for your worth in others. people will always fail you. learn to love yourself all over again, and you'll see just how much better off you are. i believe in you.

you were a splashing stream in my dark, dry world. you came at a time when i had lost all hope, giving me a new push for life. you made grass grow in barren places, and animals survive in the dankest parts of me. you pushed away my cloudy thoughts and let the moon and sun shine through. you were the better half of me. when I took you for granted, your reserves dried up. no more grass, animal noises were replaced by silence. the moon and sun refused to shine, and the clouds returned. It was as it was before you arrived, but more emphasized since now, I had you to compare my original nothing to.
