I have another Strangetown-related offering! This is definitely only a “makeover” is the loosest possible way since I changed so much of it - but here’s 94 Road to Nowhere, reimagined as a ‘motel’. I modified the floorplan, gave it an extra story, downsized the lot, removed half the pool in order to add a carpark… still, I like to think it keeps a lot of the original vibe!

The lot now functions as a set of 6 (rather grunge-y and small) apartments. Most will only suit a single or couple, although there are a couple of “family” suites, they’re definitely still a bit of a squeeze. I kept the furnishings pretty minimal so it can be customised to suit the sims that move in. Also features an office and a laundromat, which serve as communal areas along with the pool.

Note: the carpark functioned fine when I tested this lot, but you must buy a selection of cars to fill it before moving anyone in! Then once somebody rents an apartment you can assign them a car the usual way :)

@springsims1 @glabeglarn & @simhealing were all big inspirations for this lot! <3

me sims 2 notes for rotation 1 of me uberhood

okay a lot to update with, but i thought this was good enough for my personal purposes and my first uberhood

i have done one rotation of every family placed plus most of the families in the sim bin. for the traveller family they adopted 2 cats and are using them for pet labor so they can keep traveling and not working lmao.

but yaur other than that

so many people have kids

i didn't wanna have so much drama in this neighborhood yet, but i didn't wanna reload anything so some people have a few kids with different people

the only neighborhoods i haven't played yet in the uberhood are the sims life stories neighborhoods and bluewater village. i'm saving those for future generations for newer horizons for them to check out later

so for my one week rotation, i'm going to cycle a few of the pre made university sims into the neighborhood as well. not all of them though.

i did the first years or whatever with tybalt capp in academie de la tour, and for the main neighborhood one week rotation i'm gonna do 2 years of university.

rn gunnar roque of The Shifting Paradymes at la fiesta tech has graduated, and he and zoe zimmerman are a couple. he used the renuyusenso orb or whatever tf it's called and got the grilled cheese aspiration to stop his male thot-ism

Jasmine Rai of The Shifting Paradymes and uhhh is it Tank Grunt? The oldest Grunt son and her are a couple. I also got Johnny Smith and Ophelia Nigmos into La Fiesta Tech as well. These 4 are all starting their Junior year alongside The First Years + Tybalt Capp

Sims 2 notes veronaville week 1

Okay whew I have finally done at least a week (a little over a week for the main Capp family to send Tybalt to college), and I have moved both the Ottomas and Newsons into town

Couples going steady:

Ginger Newson and Mercutio Monty

Juliette Capp and Romeo Monty

Puck Summerdream and Hermia Capp

Oh ya bonus I did the big Capp family w Goneril and Hal for a week in Riverblossom Hills. They doin good and will send Miranda Capp to college to find love soon.

Imma move the other Capps and Monty’s or whatever in the bin elsewhere too

I don't think many people realize how much they've been turned into a bunch of casually cynical jerks.

Someone may come to their parents and say "I want to write a book" and their parents will say "it's really hard to get published".

Someone might confide in their sibling and say "I want to sell my art on "x" platform" and that sibling will say "do you know how many people you'd be competing with? Do you know how many shops are even on that platform?"

I know a kid who once told his best friend "I think I wanna start a dnd podcast" and the friend was like "do you know what the word "oversaturation" means?"

Personally, I don't know why any of that matters? And even if it did, perhaps your response should be "Do it! Do it and see where it goes!"
