Hey Archie! I'm currently an engineer student and I was considering change to architect, do you think it's a good idea to do this change at 24?, also do you have any idea about architecture as a job in Latin America? Thanks I love your blog
Pirámide de los Cinco Pisos, Edzna México
If it is your passion I would recommend a change. I will warn you that you will have to start from the bottom competing with younger architects but in my opinion that is not a bad thing but something that you should be aware of. As with many other careers architecture is highly dependent on the economy but you would know better how the industry is in your country.

Architecture in Latin America is part of a long tradition that has created amazing works, i consider myself a Latin American so is my tradition. From the marvels of Pre-Columbian times to the International Style and today’s global impact of our architects.

Good wood - another awesome log cabin, this one was designed by Manhattan studio JacobsChang in upstate New York and built on a shoestring. Love the contrast between the blackened timber exterior and the cool, calming, minimalist white interior.
