Making Wishes in the Dark | Luna and Logan
Luna pursed her lips, she was sad he couldnāt even talk to her like a person anymore unless it was brief text messages. She let him pick his side and went back to her seat, quickly grabbing the drink and tipping it back. She certainly didnāt need the rest of the drink but she wished she could have had about 4 more for the road. She paid her bill and headed outside.
She stepped outside, noticing it was starting to sprinkle and she ran across the parking lot as it started to get harder. She opened her car with ease, shutting the door and wiping off her shoulders, putting the key in the ignition, only to have the car not start. She sighed, trying it two more times, before getting out of the car again and going to the hood, opening it up, trying to figure out what was wrong.Ā
It had been a few drinks past when she left and Logan was feeling the effect. He hadn't drunk this much in a long while, and it didn't seem to be helping his mood any. He had a young redhead sidle up to him with the sort of intent that he had come into the bar looking for, but he found himself brushing her off until she huffed off angrily. After another drink he gave up and paid his tab before standing up and heading out the door.
It was pouring rain and he was certainly too drunk to drive. He was about to call a cab when he saw a familiar body under the hood of the car. Fuck. Had she been out here this whole time? He would rather stay away from her, but he wasn't this cold. Striding out into the rain, getting soaked within minutes, he approached her. He didn't say a word, he didn't know what to say, but he handed her his relatively dry jacket and let her move out of the way so he could look under the hood.
