When I saw the doll in the second picture, this image came into my mind: Stephen may have been cursed, which turned him into a child. Then Wong called Tony and Peter to take care of him (while Wong tries to find the solution...).
Not gonna lie, if I found this in store I certainly would spend my entire allowance on those marshmallows

I really want to talk about this particular line in Doctor Strange: Multiverse Of Madness, because it's a powerful moment, but it overlooks the fact that Stephen, too, has made countless sacrifices on his journey as a hero.
In Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, when Wanda tells Stephen, “Do not speak to me of sacrifice,” it's clear that she’s consumed by her grief. While Wanda’s loss of her children is immense, Stephen has also endured his share of sacrifices, though in different ways. His journey as a hero has cost him more than just physical pain; it has reshaped his entire life and identity.
Stephen Strange began his story as an arrogant but brilliant neurosurgeon whose entire identity was tied to his hands and the power they held. After the devastating car accident that shattered his hands, he lost his career, his pride, and the life he once knew. That loss was his first major sacrifice, and it set him on a path of humility and self-discovery.
In his quest to regain his former life, Stephen sacrificed his time, wealth, and personal relationships, traveling to Kamar-Taj to seek answers. But what he gained wasn’t a return to the life he had; he instead became the protector of Earth’s reality. Accepting that role meant leaving behind the possibility of a normal life, of ever returning to his former self as a surgeon.
Stephen’s greatest sacrifice, perhaps, was the loss of Christine Palmer, the woman he loved. Their relationship fractured because of his obsession with control and his inability to balance love with his personal ambitions. Even after becoming Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen has to come to terms with the fact that he could never have her in his life the way he once wanted. In Multiverse of Madness, he confesses his love to her, but it’s bittersweet because it’s too late.
As the Sorcerer Supreme, Stephen has taken on immense responsibilities, placing the safety of the multiverse above his own desires. He repeatedly sacrifices his personal happiness and comfort for the greater good. Whether it's facing Dormammu, fighting Thanos, or battling with his multiverse counterpart, Stephen is constantly making choices that require giving up something of himself to protect others.
In Avengers: Infinity War, Stephen makes the ultimate sacrifice by willingly giving up the Time Stone to Thanos, knowing it would lead to his own death and the temporary downfall of half the universe. He understood that it was the only way to ensure their eventual victory, and in doing so, he sacrificed not only his life but also the chance to save millions of people in the short term.
Moreover, in What If…? episode 4, we see a version of Stephen who makes the ultimate sacrifice of his own sanity in a futile attempt to save Christine. That tragic version of him becomes a warning of what could happen when a person sacrifices too much for love. The Stephen Strange we know in the main timeline must carry the weight of knowing that his sacrifices are necessary, even when they break his heart.
Wanda, understandably, sees her sacrifice as more personal, losing her family in the pursuit of a peaceful life. But Stephen’s sacrifices have always been about giving up parts of himself for the greater good; his career, his love, and his life. He may not have lost children, but he has still endured emotional and physical scars from the sacrifices he made in service of the world.
Both Stephen and Wanda have endured great losses and made painful sacrifices, but Stephen's have been more about relinquishing control and letting go of the things he values most for the sake of others. Where Wanda fights to reclaim what she lost, Stephen accepts that sacrifice is part of his burden as a hero. Their paths are different, but the pain of their sacrifices is all too similar.
Ultimately, Stephen Strange is no stranger to sacrifice. Wanda’s pain and anger may cloud her understanding of his journey, but his sacrifices are as valid as hers. They’ve shaped him into the hero he is today; someone who understands that protecting the multiverse means constantly giving up the things that matter most to him.
It's important to clarify that my thoughts on Wanda's sacrifices are not a personal attack on those who admire her character or her powers; rather, I'm simply highlighting the complexities of sacrifice that both she and Stephen face in their respective journeys.
