i use a concealer a few shades lighter and under my eyes, slightly above my glabella, and by my nose at the "base" of where your smile lines would be or are. next, use a shade-matched bb cream and a pressed powder.
03 contour, blush, highlighter.
first, lightly contour your natural nasal ridge and very lightly around the tip of your nose (optional on your cheekbones.). apply blush on your cheeks higher up, around your cheekbones and near your eyes. place a bit on the tip of your nose and a little where your would usually contour on your forehead. apply highlighter in the middle of your nose contour, above your cupid's bow, and your inner corners.
04 eyes.
i personally like to use a light pink eyeshadow on my eyelids as it matches my skintone but cancels out the natural coloring. use an eyeshadow fairly similar to your skintone if you're not a saltine sister! i also love using some eye glitter to layer on my inner corners and under my bottom lashes. next, curl your lashes and apply a mascara similar to your natural lash color (i'm darker blonde and i love using brown mascara).
05 lips.
honestly not quite sure for other skin tones, but i love a pink lip in the spring. i use either the clinique pink honey almost lipstick or the glossier wild fig balm dotcom.
06 finishing touches.
apply a setting spray, put on a nice floral perfume, and fix up your hair. for spring i loveee 90s blowouts, long layers, and defined renaissance "curls." if you struggle with frizz, i also use the olaplez no. 6 daily.
try studying in different places (your house, library, coffee shop, with friends) and find what works for you and what place has the least distractions.
background noise
invest in noise cancelling headphones omg. study to whatever sound level you want. silence, music, podcasts, white noise, i don't care just study how you want to and what keeps you productive.
phones and devices
put that shit away unless you're using it for a study timer or pomodoros. lock your phone or have someone else keep it for you.
choose who you study with
i love working alone or with my friends but before you ask your friends to study with you think about it. are you all going to help each other and focus or are they just going to be distractions?
study methods
this entire thing is just telling you to try different things. know what study methods keep you engaged and which ones don't and make you feel unmotivated.
rewards system
if you can afford it and you have a test or exam set a goal. eg. "i'll study for x hours this weekend and reward myself with x product." do whatever it takes to motivate yourself. if it just means studying for 30 minutes to get a break, do it.
hello dolls, so sorry for the infrequent posts. i've been busy with midterms, family issues, and as the episode title says, getting back on the academic grind. so without further ado, here's the ultimate guide i followed to get back into the right mindset for school.
morning routine
the night before, set out an outfit and put your phone far away from your bed so when you wake up, you'll have to go across your room to turn off your alarm. do some light stretches, brush your teeth, wash your face with cold water, do your skincare and makeup. eat a light breakfast and go over your notes or assignments to review.

during school
keep a face mist and deoderant on you at all times. try to organize your pencil case and restock on any stationary you need. take notes during class. take breaks when you can: get food or water, review your notes, talk with your friends, listen to music, or walk around if you're allowed to.

after school
if you take the bus home, you probably have a pretty long ride, so use that time to check your socials, start homework assignments, and relax. when you get home, wash your face and change clothes. turn your phone on do not disturb. do any homework immediately so you don't get tired or burnt out. have a small snack. study topics you don't understand or need to practice for a bit and have dinner.

evening routine
after you have dinner, take a warm shower. after, do your skincare and take some time to make notes or summarize what notes you've already made. this is a very passive task and also low energy, so make sure to annotate and look up any questions you have. only do this for a bit so you don't stay up for hours studying. next, relax and get into bed with a book and read until you go to bed.

bonus tips
if you're an insomniac like me or just can't sleep, keep the lighting low and get out of bed to read, draw, etc. until you feel drowsy.
accessorize your school outfits if you can! do simple hairstyles, add jewelry, or pick the best shoes to go with your outfit.
make your bed right after you wake up so you won't go back to bed and waste valuable time.
