Hi! I would like to know why isn't Alice auaa in the brand directory? After all it was pretty advertised in the gothic lolita bible and other magazines I think it could count as subversive egl? Just peeked my curiosity when I was looking more of it

Hi there, good question! If you mean like the brand list in the search options for Lolibrary itself, it's not meant to be a prescriptive "these brands are more/less lolita than others", but is just applied automatically when the brand reaches 200+ submitted entries in the database.

Lolibrary is crowd sourced and volunteer driven so the number of items from any brand in the database is not a reflection of how Lolibrary as like, an entity, views that brand! Our brand or tag list may contain brands which have a single very dedicated fan entering items, but omit larger companies that don't have a fan entering their items. Q-Pot and Algonquins for example only started getting added in the past year or so :)

I personally feel like Alice Auaa tends to typically fall more on the general "Gothic" side of the Gothic and Lolita Bible, so tracking down the specific pieces that work in lolita to add them might be a lot of work for someone? (Like I feel like you'd be hard pressed to find pieces that could hold a petticoat) Which might be why no one's really gotten around to adding stuff, but it isn't because we have a rule against it or anything 😅
