Twinning Robe de Lievré with marymasculinee 🖤
There is something so satisfying about our hems hitting exactly the same spot ✨
I really love the careful tailoring and details of this dress, it's just gorgeous with the velvet material and exudes a stately gothic vibe.

★ This was my first ever Mary Magdalene dress. I am at least the third owner of it. I bought it from my local comm sales group from someone who years later became one of my very best friends, and despite her constant (half joking) urging me to sell it back to her I intend to keep it forever. It's really one of those pieces that straddles the line between old school and modern. It's 21 years old as of this year, and has some very old school style lace around the neckline, but otherwise it's a very typical classic MM style dress. I've opted to coord it with black here to show it in a less old school fashion, but give it a white rectangle headpiece and lace topped OTKs and it will truly show its age. What can I say? It just has all of the hallmarks of the perfect couch classic dress. The Sheglit jacket I bought off wunderwelt many years ago and it's the perfect 'fancy' short jacket for EGL. I've also worn it a lot, it goes with just about anything. I really like that Sheglit is a brand that falls between classic and gothic so I can wear their pieces with both styles.
