I know I haven’t posted on here in forever - I haven’t been a student myself for a year now. I think I’m going to start studying for the LSAT though, so I will post some of that when the time comes. In the meanwhile, have these I took of an evening walk in my neighborhood, featuring ditch flowers. I’m not very good at using my camera but it was too beautiful not to try.

new semester of teaching, new semester of student-ing. new school where im working is so far so good, now just need to get on top of masters stuff in my spare time! also i repotted all my plants today so they’d be more comfy in larger homes
usual set up from some different angles to showcase both the beauty of the library and my wwdits sticker. finished 2/3 final projects for my summer courses. actually really enjoying the last one but excited for a few weeks of break so i can fully focus on onboarding to my new teaching position :)

studying in my deeply beloved town library (where we are small enough that the building is also the rec center, town hall, and police station)
officially starting my Masters tomorrow! My MA will be in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Critical Pedagogy. here is my set up at home because the entire 14-month program is online. the flowers are from a student on the last day of school and the candle is a gift from two of my best friends for getting through the year <3 so excited to be back learning and studying.
some kind of but not really aesthetic pictures of my day playing hooky from work and catching up on grad school stuff. seriously if the four day school/work week existed I think I wouldn’t feel so burnt out all the time. went to a coffee shop in a new neighborhood and then to my library to get a change of scenery. my brain is soooo tired

happy new years! enjoying the day off from work with… work. at least the snow is cozy and makes the whole world a little brighter. currently brewing super yummy vanilla rooibos tea
