Yes, you’re right of course. Penguins can’t be depressed, they’re surrounded by other pengus who love them and even if they don’t end up finding love again with a male or female, they still have an awesome support group and that’s all anyone can ask for. You’re so smart babe, when did you learn so much about penguins? I am ready! 

Well, when I have a gorgeous woman like you by my side, I need to catch up on all subjects. I gotta keep you on your toes on all things, not just dancing. Good. Let’s head out.

Okay good, that makes me feel better. The idea of a forever alone penguin breaks my heart. I saw a picture recently in one of the zoos where these two female penguins who recently lost their husbands formed a bond and it was the saddest but cutest story I had ever read and all it made me want to do was visit them and tell them it would be okay and they can carry on the love they had for them with each other. Okay yes! I’ll go change, give me fifteen minutes! 

Well that is something you will never have to worry about, okay? I’m sure they find love no matter what kind. They find cute little other penguins and they are happy until the moment they die and then that penguin goes and does it. Circle of life, baby. They carry on the love and so do we. Alright. I’m ready to go out with my girl.

Oh yeah he does. It has to match the lady’s personality and remind him of her and if he doesn’t pick correctly, then he ends up alone and that’s just sad. Like, what if there isn’t one available? What if its just because they’re not in a good location? Does he get to try again? Or is he doomed to be a bachelor forever? Do gay penguins exist? I have so many questions..

Britt, I’m sure he gets to try again with anyone he falls for if the first doesn’t last. Just like us. And I’m sure there’s gay penguins. After all, who could resist something as sweet as experiencing what we have. You have nothing to worry about in that front, okay? Let’s just go to the zoo and see for ourselves.

I don’t think anyone will have a problem telling that we’re together but shouting it out in front of the lions or penguins sounds like fun! Did you know they mate for life? So when the male finds a female he wants to marry, he finds the most perfect pebble and gives it to her. If she accepts, they’re bonded for life. If not, well he has to try again. 

It sure does. A pebble, huh? He must really work hard to pick the perfect one.

Yasss! You don’t know how excited I am about this! I need them just like they need us. They need to know that they’re not alone anymore and we still care about them. 

We’ll make sure they know it, even if we have to scream it.

That’s true. It’ll probably be something about missing them and hoping that they’re doing okay, which we know they are. All those shows on Animal Planet that show you how they work prove that they live good lives. I’m almost jealous of them. 

Then we’ll whisper how much we appreciate them letting us be on their planet and letting us take care of them and be able to see them.

Yay! I just hate that we have to wear the masks. If the can’t read my lips, how will they know what I’m saying? I’ll have to get creative. 

Knowing you, you’ll think of something. And we can always whisper our thoughts into our hands and blow them towards them. A different form of blowing a kiss.

Hey babe, can we go to the zoo tomorrow? They said as long as we abide by all the quarantine rules we can go! So what do you say? Can we go see the penguins and leopards?
