I absolutely crave to see the canonical relationship between the Witness and Savathûn
I want to see the most toxic and abusive, the rawest and most disturbing shit that ever got displayed in this franchise
I want to see the Witness being an absolute creep, invading Savathûn's personal space and brain, crushing her boundaries and forcing itself into her thoughts with no regards of her consent
I want the Witness's presence to be so immense and overwhelming it suffocates her, it fills her mind to the point where she starts doubting where her free will ends and its control begins: for once, Savathûn is confused, unable to think and forsee any possible variable while the Witness whispers sweet little lies to her– and, for once, she can't sense them, her powers fail her because her domain can nothing against the Witness's
And this plants a seed of doubt in her mind because why can't she recognize the truth from its lies? Why can't she fulfill her role as the Goddess of Lies and Deceit? It makes her feel weak and pathetic and the Witness pushes on this button, its words slowly seeping through her head, feeding her insecurities, belittling her and manipulating her into seeing the distorted reflection that it wants her to see
She's weak, she's the weakest, she has always been
She is useless, she is not that powerful and she's probably unworthy of anybody's love at this point
How can she oppose to it? She's completely mesmerized
I want to see Savathûn torn between the new "teachings" the Witness is giving her and her own identity (that she can't recognize anymore from the slave the Witness has created) as her spirit is slowly coming undone until she finally snaps out of that haze and realizes that she can't last any longer
I want Savathûn to burst into a maniacal laughter once she betrays the Witness because, after everything, she feels truly free, she provided herself her own freedom– and yet she regrets it, she regrets what she did because the Witness's brainwashing is just so deep inside of her she can't recognize what is right and what is wrong anymore, but this feels so very wrong
I want to see the malice, the obsession, the ill intentions, the pure cruelty that the Witness can offer and see it cover it up with the most fucked up idea of "family" it wants to create
I want to see Savathûn utterly and completely vulnerable, devasted, exhausted and lost in every meaning, trapped like a fly inside a web
And I want to see Savathûn, after she regains her memories, being absolutely terrified of the Witness, of facing it again, of it getting inside of her head again because she simply can't fight it off
I want to see Savathûn bent
