Hermes, the Greek version of the trickster archetype
Poseidon, god of the seas and cause of earthquakes
Athena, goddess of battle and wisdom
Apollo, god of...a lot of things, actually!
Hera, queen of the gods!
Less of a specific spirit and more of a classification, black dogs were spirits shaped like...well...dogs! Depictions of them run the gamut from helpful and protective to actively malevolent. The term often refers to entities in British folklore, but I believe similar ideas exist in other cultures as well
A kelpie (not the dog breed...) is a shape-shifting spirit from Scottish folklore that often took the form of a horse. Usually they were dangerous and tried to down people, though some stories have people controlling them.
Jenney Greenteeth is a malevolent figure in British folklore, primarily the Lancashire area. She lived at the bottom of ponds and was find of drowning people.
Baba Yaga is a powerful figure in Slavic folklore, benign or malevolent depending on the story. Neither good nor evil, she’s basically a force of nature. She’s most well known for her house that walks around on chicken legs, but she also flies through the forest with a mortar and pestle.
...hands are hard!
An illustration of Nyx, the primordial goddess of night from Greek mythology, and one of the most powerful deities in the pantheon.
