I like to imagine sirens as giant osprey women who call sailors into the sea so they can swoop down and snatch them up with their pretty talons like tasty fishies.

Like imagine it’s foggy sailing and your buddy jumps into the water because he’s hearing the most beautiful and terrible sound he’s ever heard, and then this fuckhuge bird that you swear had a woman’s face in the split second view you had of it wooshes down out of the mist and then your friend is gone.
