On our last day of the Disney Marathon Weekend, the goal was to recreate the photo on the left. 1998 v. 2014, (Everlys in their natural habitat.) There is no arguing that I got my sweet tooth from Dad.

Ok. Last post before race day, I promise. I asked my mom to send me pics of our last trip to Disney World with Dad before he died. She sent me a few and I almost fell out of my chair. I could hardly recognize the man in the pictures. My brightly, lively dad looked so tired and sick. Mom told me yesterday that he really struggled that trip. She almost had to call an ambulance during one day in the parks, but he refused because he didn't want me to see him like that, so we rushed straight to the hotel instead. Moral of the story: I am beyond motivated and PUMPED. Pumped to run this race and to keep on working to get a cure for this awful, debilitating disease. Regardless of his bad days, my dad had PD, but he didn't let PD have him I'm going to channel that spirit and fight like hell tomorrow. #outrunparkinsons #26point2forlew #goteamfox
