I love her, but I will not accept something I'm not comfortable with. I will not trust her when she doesn't deserve my trust. Maybe somewhere down the line, she'll come around. I can only hope.

The thing about depression is, no matter where you are, it's still there. Like a shadow on every single day. Never show it, but I can feel it there. Feels like I'm trying to outrun it. Like if I keep moving it won't catch me. Trying to fill my life with good things to fool myself that it's not there. But it's always there. I don't know how much longer I can pretend.
