ᯓᡣ𐭩 MASTERLIST | ᯓᡣ𐭩 LATEST WORK | ᯓᡣ𐭩 WIPS and TAGLIST (to be updated)
about me and my rules
⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ about me hi! im blue. i mainly stan riize and nct, particularly nct dream. but i also like other kpop groups such as skz, aespa, red velvet, itzy, bnd, and more. my ults are haechan and sungchan (2chan supremacy).
i like reading feedbacks from my readers. i also like interacting regardless of whether it is related to my works or unrelated - just anything under the sun. although i would say, im kinda unresponsive at times.
⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ my works i am mostly going to write for riize. although i have previously wrote for nct and skz. i am open with writing for other groups as long as it is the groups mentioned above (as im not familiar with groups i do not engage with usually). i do not write for idols that are minors.
i usually write scenarios, one shots, and smau. although im open with writing reactions. im most comfortable with fluff and angst. some contents may be suggestive but i do not engage in full-blown smut as i feel like i do not have the vocabulary for that.
disclaimer: i usually write with female reader in mind. writing pronouns are complicated for me. english is my second language, and although it is conversational, there are times where my english is going to sound awkward. preposition is my weak point. spelling is also not my strong suit.
⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ requests i am open for request for all seven riize members - be it a specific scenarios, or ideas. but take note that i may take these requests as inspirations and suggestions rather than following the entire. it really depends on my creative juice. so please be patient.
BEFORE YOU REQUEST. once again, I DO NOT WRITE SMUT.
i am writing as a form of stress-relief. i have my other priorities as im currently a uni student working on her degree. i also get crazy sometimes, so it's gonna be a tough road following this blog

I want to get something from you, any reaction, any thing that could indicate you care about us, that you care about being my soulmate…..” He said, raising his voice. “...that you care about me,” muttering the last part, his voice softening in an almost inaudible manner. Eunseok couldn't stop himself from tearing up this time.

It started with a ride home. You gave him your number so he could send you a message if he got home safe. The DMs turned into something more - messaging each other back and forth, sending memes you would find randomly while scrolling on your feed, or starting a tiktok streak with random videos you would like to have a discussion on. Soon, the random messages sent to each other turned into late-night talks where it got a little too personal, pouring your heart out on random things life throws at you, listing your aspirations, listening to his plans for the future, and talking about regrets and growth. The calls would take hours where neither of you wanted to hang up - waiting as one fell asleep instead.
The closeness was justifiable. After all, you’ve been in the same core group since you were introduced by a mutual friend, Sohee, to the circle back in college. Sohee had warned you that while the boy is friendly and approachable, he can be quite shy on the first meeting.
But Anton was a sweetie, you knew the first time you met. He smiled at you, introducing himself while simultaneously offering you some snacks he got from Sohee’s pantry. Sohee’s apartment was small, given that it was a studio especially targeted to college students. You still remembered how Anton, without saying any words, gave up his spot on the three-seater sofa for you. He was attentive, paying attention to your answers as the group interrogated you curiously. He didn’t ask you anything, just staring, nodding along, and occasionally throwing some jokes directed at the others.
It was only at the end of your hangout when you realized just how much Anton was paying attention. Sohee apologized repeatedly at how he won’t be able to accompany you back home. He had to cut the get-together short as he received a phone call about an extra shift he had to cover on his part-time. You had to reassure the poor boy you’d be fine and that you’d call him immediately as soon as you got home. And much to everyone’s surprise, it was Anton who volunteered to bring you home.
“Well, she lives near my place.” You didn’t even think he’d remembered where you live considering you just mentioned it in passing.
The ride home was pleasant and comfortable. You’ve been inseparable since then.
ᯓᡣ𐭩
To say Anton had kept you sane in your four-year relationship with college would be an understatement.
He was there when you were ranting about writing a 5000-word essay about the ethical challenges developed countries had to face when dealing with climate change. Climate change wasn’t even related to your program, you argued the whole time.
He was there, pulling an all-nighter next to you, as the both of you were studying for exams.
He was there, with a fire extinguisher in hand, when you almost burned your entire apartment building as you tried to copy a recipe hack for college students you saw on reels.
He was there every time you would randomly send a random place you’d found online in your group chat, asking if anyone wanted to go with you. More often than not, it almost always ends up with just the two of you.
He was there when you had a particularly bad period wherein you were effectively bedridden with how bad the cramps were, taking a rain check on a lunch Yushi planned. He sensed something was wrong, apologizing to Yushi for leaving early. Soon, he was at your apartment with a bunch of snacks he knew you’d like, and some extra period products and medications to help ease the cramps. He was so sweet the whole time, making the experience as comfortable as possible. The day ended with Lady and the Tramp playing on your laptop while his arms were enveloped around you, bringing you closer to his chest, as he wrapped the blanket even more tightly around the both of you.
He was there to pick you up when you got wasted after a celebratory night out with your research group for getting your title approved, carrying you on his back, holding your hair as you empty your stomach content, removing your makeup, and sleeping next to you in case you needed something in the middle of the night. He even woke up earlier than usual just to get you some breakfast and aspirin to help with the nasty hangover.
He was there when you ultimately bade farewell to your college, finally earning your degree and graduating.
He was still there, next to you, as the both of you embarked on the job searching process and eventually getting hired on your respective positions.
He has been a constant presence in your life - the random messages sent throughout the day when you would see something that reminds you of him or just simply telling him what you were doing, the weekends saved only for him as you spent some quality time with each other, the warm cuddles lulling you to the sleep whenever he stayed over, the clothes left in your closet, the pet names shared and inside jokes created, and the future planned together. You couldn’t imagine how life used to look like without him.
ᯓᡣ𐭩
Over the course of your friendship, the group acknowledged the brewing relationship between the two of you.
Just like with any friendship, it started with teasing. The knowing glances they share whenever you and Anton would arrive together at a gathering, or the subtle smirks when they see the both of you wrapped in your own worlds, or the teasing squeal they would make as Anton did something sweet for you. They never asked what you were - a silent acknowledgement that there was something else in there beyond what they see.
Adult friendship was difficult in a sense that everyone has different schedules and situations, making gathering really difficult to do so. Such gatherings always end up with one or two people missing. Nevertheless, Seunghan found a way to invite all the boys once in a while in what they usually call their very own “Boys Night Out.”
And that’s where Anton found himself, in the middle of Seunghan’s living room as he engages in a Mario Kart race with Sohee while getting interrogated on his “unlabeled” relationship with you.
“So you mean to tell me you’re not dating?” Seunghan said, his eyes still fixated on the monitor in front of him.
“We never talked about it.”
“Wait, let me reiterate all of that. You were planning on moving together without having the ‘talk’” Wonbin said with exasperation in his voice, air quoting the word ‘talk’ in the process, making Anton cringe at his words.
“It’s not like that. We’re just flatmates, essentially. We’re staying in different rooms. It helps with rent, and it’s near our work.” Anton tried to explain, his voice whiny and defeated.
“Yeah, flatmates who sleep next to each other whenever they like it.” Sohee snarkled, causing him to press the wrong button as Yoshi overtook Toad in the game.
“Darn you, Seunghan!” He cusses, making the other boy laugh.
“Convenient how your workplace is near each other’s. Didn’t you do job hunting together?” Shotaro asked.
Before Anton could even answer, Sungchan spoke. “Well, that’s how couples are. They make decisions together, find jobs where they can still meet halfways so they can grab dinner whenever they like, and reserve all their weekends to each other.”
Shotaro nodded in agreement.
“My weekends aren’t reserved for her, that’s why I’m here.” Anton pointlessly complained.
In which Sungchan replied with, “Doesn’t count. You were with her last night.”
Anton shut his lips knowing very well there’s no point in denying you were together last night. You took him to this fancy Italian restaurant you’ve been wanting to dine in for weeks. It supposedly had the best beef carpaccio in town; not like you and Anton knew much about Italian dishes. The both of you had been extremely busy the past few weeks and it makes the perfect excuse to eat together after a long exhausting week at your work.
“Not that I care about the details of your relationship, but say, have the two of you ever kissed?” Eunseok inquired, squinting his eyes in curiosity.
“They do. Saw it last week when I came over to Y/N’s place.” It was Sohee who answered for the boy. “I’m out!” He animatedly complained, throwing the controller at the couch as Seunghan finally defeated him, Eunseok taking the controller from the coach.
“I was just trying to hang out with Y/N because I have not seen her in a while. And there comes Anton, who, by the way, knows the key to her apartment. And my girl pecked his lips as a greeting. Who does that to a friend?!” It was almost comical the way Sohee narrated what happened, his eyebrows meeting halfway forming a crease on his forehead. And if Anton wasn’t being put in a hot seat, he would have laughed at his cuteness.
“It’s like they do it naturally.” Sungchan remarked with a slight teasing tone.
“Maybe we are dating. I don’t know. Sure, we act like that. But we never talked about it. We never explicitly said we were dating. So, I don’t know. Maybe Y/N doesn’t think we’re dating.” The boy, once again, tried to explain his side, knowing very well it was futile at this point.
“She calls you ‘Love.’” Wonbin stated in a as-a-matter-of-fact manner.
Anton couldn’t answer. You do call him ‘Love’ and his heart flutters every time you do so.
“I’m sure it will be fine. It’s not like their relationship is complicated. They’re totally committed to each other regardless of whether they put a label on it or not.” Shotaro said, finally ending the discussion about Anton’s complicated uncomplicated unlabeled relationship with you.
“Sion is opening a restaurant in Mokpo. We should drop by next weekend.” Wonbin suggested. Anton almost let out a sigh of relief with the change of the topic.
“I’m in!” Sohee said.
“How about the rest of you?”
Seunghan and Eunseok nodded their heads in agreement. Shotaro gave Wonbin a thumbs up in response.
“But Mokpo is so far away.” Sungchan whined.
“You’re just gonna rot away in your bed on the weekend anyways. At least, do something productive.” Eunseok jabbed at him.
“Fine. But I’m not going to drive.” The taller man whined in which Eunseok said something about how no one asked Sungchan to drive and that they could take the bus instead.
“How about you, Ton? You up?” Wonbin turned his head to the younger boy. Sensing the hesitation from him, he added, “You should come. It will be fun.”
“I would love to.” He started. “But, I'd have to ask Y/N first. It's a bit far, she'll be worried.”
Wonbin chuckled while the rest of the guys shook their heads in amusement.
“And he said they were not dating. You do realize that's how dating works, right?”
Anton could only grunt in reply, throwing the pillow he was holding at Wonbin.
ᯓᡣ𐭩
Later that night, Anton found himself in your apartment, hyperaware of anything that has to do with you.
He noticed how it was like an instinct to drive home to your place. It’s like the both of you know he’ll come straight at your place rather than his. You even took the privilege to order some takeouts from your favorite Chinese place. He didn’t have to tell you his order. Somehow, you knew he was craving the dish before he even realized. The delivery arrived shortly after him. He even realized the way his heart jumped at the way you beamed at him, asking him to relax and just sit back on the couch, as you went to the front door to receive your dinner. You prepared everything for him, opening up the takeout bags, handling his food, and preparing his cutlery. And how naturally you hand him the television remote control to let him pick what to watch - of course, it always ends up with the both of you binge watching Love Island on your shared Netflix account. He even noted the way you sweetly called him ‘love’ as you handed him the food. Sitting at the floor by the coffee table, you babbled about being excited to do this every night when you move together. He couldn’t help but to smile at the thought as well.
As the night began to settle in, Anton felt the warmth of your hands wrapping around his as you dragged him towards the bathroom for your nightly skincare routine. Before you, Anton wasn’t really particular with his skincare. He would just use some cleanser, moisturize his face, and then call it a day. He remembered how you used to nag him about him, about taking care of himself better, and he still remembered the very first time you asked him to join you with your nightly routine. He already memorized this by heart - double cleanse, some exfoliator once in a while, a toner, serum, and some hydrating cream. On some nights, you would use some sleeping mask and apply a similar one to himself. It was tedious sometimes but Anton doesn’t mind especially when he feels your soft hand caressing his face ever so carefully as you applied the product on him.
You cleansed your face at the same time, silence enveloping the both of you as you took turns at the sink. He patted a towel on his face and stood there waiting for you to finish applying toner and serum on your face. He knew by now that you preferred to apply the remaining product on him by yourself, something about your hand being more gentle than his, you argued before. But frankly, Anton thinks you just like pampering him. He doesn’t mind, not when he feels the warmth in your hands as you took care of him. Turning to him, you squeezed a generous amount of toner in your hand. It's like the muscle memory acting on its own as he ever-so-gently lifts you up by your waist and sets you down the cool porcelain sink counter. And by instinct, you parted your legs and let him settle in between as you proceed to put on the product in his face. Finishing your nightly skincare routine.
Anton also couldn’t help but noting how naturally it is for him to prepare two warm almond milks because it helps you prepare for bedtime, a habit he also adapted, while also preparing an adequate amount of trail mix in a bowl for the both of you. The routine shared every night you spent together.
Anton settled on the coach while scrolling on his phone, a blanket you prepared draped on his body, as he waited for you to dress in your pyjamas; the television is still on, Love Island is on pause, and two mugs of almond milk and the bowl of trail mix on the coffee table.
“Aww, you already prepared my milk. That’s so sweet.” You cooed as you stepped into the living room, sporting a pikachu pants and a grey hoodie Anton recognizes as his. In his eyes, you look the cutest like this - with a comfortable nightwear and a messy bun.
“I want it to cool down a little bit so it wouldn’t be that hot when you drink it.” You pouted, touched by how thoughtful he is when it comes to you. He knows your tongue isn't that strong when it comes to hot drinks and you tend to get tongue burns when you don’t let your drink cool.
“Move your blanket, Love. I wanna lay down on your chest.” He opened up the blanket, inviting you in his warm embrace as you assumed your position. Your upper body resting on his chest, a quiet sense of intimacy filling the room. You nestled your head comfortably around him as Anton’s arms wrapped around you while you held the bowl of trail mix.
Anton hit the play button on the remote control, letting the coziness embrace you fully.
After a while, he noticed how you snuggled closer to him, now hugging his sides instead. His arm still wrapped around you as the other one proceeded to comb your hair with his fingers, soothing you.
“Comfortable?” He asked. His tone is soft and quiet. You could only hum in reply.
“You always fall asleep halfway into the episode and I have to wake you up every time so you could brush your teeth.” He softly chuckled, you can feel the vibration in his chest.
“Can’t help it. You’re so homey.” You tiredly said, almost like a whisper. And he swore he could feel his heart flipped at your words. He bet you could feel it yourself as you continued to lay on his chest.
“You could brush my teeth for me.” You jokingly said.
He smiled softly at you as he planted a soft kiss on your forehead, content with the soft moments you shared together. This time, he’s certain that whatever this is is something special.
ᯓᡣ𐭩
Anton spent nights and days thinking about your relationship. With the newfound realization of how intimate his relationship with you and how much he cherished you, he was even more affectionate to you know. He didn’t exactly understand what came over him, but he knew he had to make things official. It was yet another week with the boys when Anton decided he wanted to ask you out officially. Truth to be told, Anton, for a few days now, had been brainstorming on how to ask you out. Though, he never arrived at a definite plan. He figured he had to prepare himself for the inevitable teasing when he ultimately asked the guys out for their suggestions.
The ride to Mokpo was long and tiring. They had to wake up at the crack of the dawn to avoid intense traffic. Despite Sungchan’s earlier complaints of not wanting to drive, he ended up being the designated driver of the group with Eunseok as the substitute. Throughout the drive, Anton was exchanging messages with you, and updating you at their current location once in a while. Shotaro even pointed out the fact that he gets smiley and giddy whenever a notification from you pops up on his phone. He knew that even if you never say it out loud, you worry a lot about him. And even if he knew you would agree as you respect him and his decision, he still ended up asking for your permission to go to Mokpo.
Eventually, it came to a point where he found himself sitting in a private room with his friends, with a view overlooking the city as Sion personally prepared the food he served to the boys.
It was Sohee, once again, who started mentioning you, asking him how have you been.
“Why are you asking Anton about Y/N when you could have just texted her?” Eunseok asked Sohee, pointing to the fact that the both of you were close enough to exchange messages regularly.
“Well, it’s better to ask someone who has seen her last night.” Sohee slyly smirked at the younger boy in a teasing manner.
“She’s good. Work has been hella stressful for her lately, but she’s managing.” He answered.
“So, you were indeed with her last night,” Sohee replied.
Anton braced himself. And so the teasing has begun. He figured he had no choice but to ask now or he’ll never have the courage to do so. He let out a long deep breath before starting.
“There’s no point in denying at this point. We were together last night. In fact, I’ve been to her place this week more than I’ve been to mine. Yes, we are serious about moving in together. And yes, I’ve thought about it, and I think we are dating in a not-so-official sense. But we’ve shared so many moments together that are too intimate to be considered platonic. So yes, there is something going on. And I really really really like her a lot. I’ve been wanting to ask her out officially but I don’t know much about this thing. Can any of you help?” Anton rambled in nervousness.
The boys were all looking at him, shock evident on their face hearing Anton’s confession. Sohee’s mouth was gaped open. Wonbin’s eyes are so big, he looks like a scared cat.
“So….?” Anton looked around hesitantly.
It was Eunseok who let out a light laugh, “The talk last week got into your head, and he was so sure they weren’t dating.”
“I was wrong, okay? There is something. I’m just naive.” Anton responded.
“Are you thinking of making some grand gestures for her?” Shotaro asked, finally recovering from his initial shock.
“I don’t know. I just want it to be special.”
“Give her flowers and gifts. Girls love those.” Wonbin proposed.
“Yeah, but not Y/N. She doesn’t really like receiving gifts, she prefers giving.” Sohee countered, having known you for years.
“You’ve known Y/N for so long. You should be the one suggesting stuff.” Eunseok said, directly addressing Sohee.
“I’ve known her for years, but not in that sense. She didn’t really date around, not until Anton.”
“If we were still in college, I would say to go over the top. Make a public proposal and stuff.” Eunseok jokingly put forward.
Wonbin shook his head at the older man, a smirk on his face. “I would really like to see Anton embarrass himself like that.” Anton grunted at Wonbin’s words.
“Plan a simple dinner. It’s not like you’re going to propose or something. That’s really the most sensible thing to do right now.” Shotaro argued. It makes the most sense to Anton.
“So, if I plan this dinner, how do I ask her out? Do I just go straight to the point? Or do I need to do something?” He was still unsure about the plan.
“Just ask her out directly after the meal.” Sungchan suggested. “You’re as domestic as a married couple, she loves your current setup, she wouldn’t mind. I bet she’s been waiting for you to ask her out, she would appreciate it.” Sungchan added, trying to rationalize your complex relationship with Anton.
Anton pondered over the man’s words, trying to absorb what he meant.
“Just do it your way, man. Afterall, you know her the best. You’re the only one who would know how she likes it.” Shotaro uttered, leaving the younger boy deep in thoughts.
ᯓᡣ𐭩
It was on a Tuesday night when Anton saw you next - exactly 3 days after the hangout with the boys. You weren’t able to spend the remaining weekends together as the boys decided to extend their stay in Mokpo - having to crash on Sion’s place. When Anton informed you, you gladly agreed to it. Well, it’s about time you spent a night over someone’s place instead of mine, you jokingly told him over the phone.
The weekend away from you also helped Anton think about his planned dinner. He had it already mapped out in his head. He will ask you out for dinner this Friday, noting to wear his most presentable clothes. Of course, he would pay for everything. He’ll clock out early for work so he can get you some tulips. Maybe if he had some time to spare, he was thinking of buying you this bracelet you were eyeing last time you went to the mall. That was his current game plan. In fact, he already made a reservation for the Italian restaurant you tried last time; remembering how you said you wanted to come back to try their Ravioli.
When he arrived at your home, you were already dressed in your comfy shirt, sitting on the coach while scrolling through your phone. You heard the door click and immediately looked up. You beamed at him so sweetly, he swore he could melt right at this moment.
“Hey, I haven’t ordered dinner yet.” He walked towards you as you stood up, grabbing his bag so you could put it on the floor next to the coach, wrapping your arms around him to welcome him home. He sighed at the feeling, loving the way your arms feel around him.
"I missed you." You whispered, almost inaudible.
Suddenly, he realized nothing really mattered at this moment. He wants to make things official, wants to treasure you more than anything else.
“Hey, so I had this whole thing planned out. I would ask you out for dinner, buy you some tulips, and some gifts but I can't wait anymore. I need to know now.” He started. His tone is soft and gentle. You looked up at him, a smile still on your face, waiting for him to continue. Doe eyes looking directly at his, full of affection and warmth, the same one he currently mirrored. His arms still wrapped around your waist, while yours remained encircled around his neck.
“Can I be your boyfriend?” He asked, voice full of conviction as he looked straight at your eyes.
Anton was surprised to hear a soft giggle from you.
“Are you not?,” you asked him, voice cheery with a teasing tone.
“Well, I didn't ask before. I didn't realize.” He mumbled, now unsure with what’s going on.
“Lucky for you, I've always assumed you were my boyfriend, and have been introducing you to my co-workers as that.” You squish his cheeks, still beaming at him.
“Since when?”
“Since the night you kissed me at the back of your dad's pickup.”
“But that was 4 years ago.” He gasped, choked at your revelation.
“Yeah, I had a good hunch.” You shrugged your shoulders. He looked at you with tenderness in his eyes as he slowly engrossed himself at the moment.
“And you let me kiss you every time I want since then.” He whispered, face slowly inching closer to yours.
“I do. What are you gonna do about it then?” You playfully taunt him.
He smiled at you so softly, you could feel the love in him as he closed the gap between the both of you. Anton pushes his soft plump lips into yours, tender and unhurried, as you bask into each other’s presences - a kiss filled with comfort more than passion.
As he parted with you, catching his breath, he locked eyes with yours as he whispered.
“I love you.”
You giggled at him, “And now, that's a first. Did I just unlock the girlfriend privilege?” You gasped, exaggerating your reaction.
He laughed at you. The apartment is filled with serenity and love.
“So tulips, huh?” You teased him once again.
“Well, you had this small tulip sticker pasted on your iPad during undergrad.”
“Aww, you remembered. I love you, too.” You whispered, drawing him even closer to you. Foreheads resting against each other.
He pressed his lips to claim yours once again. It was featherlight, warm, and sincere. The world is fading in the background with just the two of you in your own bubble. He can finally call you his.

ᯓᡣ𐭩 notes: this is lowkey inspired by my will to write a soulmate au but make it angst and full of identity crisis and yearning
Teaser I.
There’s a certain longing and excitement in anticipating your first meeting with your soulmate. Years of tales and thousands of stories were spoken about it. Every child is born with the markings of their soulmate’s full name on their wrist - the soulmate mark, as what they call. The name is supposed to glow at the exact time you first met eyes with your soulmate. The first meeting is special, everyone is aware to some extent about it. “I didn’t even realize I met him, there were suddenly sparks inside me. The next thing I know, his name is glowing in my wrist,” your mom recalled. It gives girls a reason to dress up everyday, afraid their soulmates will meet them on a random morning in only pyjamas. It gives guys a reason to act on their best behaviour while in public, conscious that their soulmates may find them while playing around. It was fun tho, the waiting and anticipation. Youngins spent their days predicting the face behind the name written on their wrist, imagining how the exact day was supposed to go. Some even go as far as planning their entire day so the moment would be perfect. But as the tale as old as time would say, it will happen when it happens - and when it happens, it will be perfect.
Lucky you - you won’t be able to experience any of those. You don’t have to plan your entire fit for the whole week. You don’t even dare imagine how it feels like to meet your soulmate for the first time, you know how it went. You don’t need to put a face on the name of the man written on your wrist, you’re sure you will never forget his face.
Song Eunseok - the name tattooed on your wrist. The name you are expected to spend the rest of your days. The name you despise the most.
Teaser II.
Initially, you weren't planning on telling them about your strange relationship with the campus' basketball star player. It was a random basketball game on a random Friday afternoon wherein Ryujin accompanied you just because she's bored. Of course, Eunseok's team won. With an I.D. that reads Sports Journalist, it was easy to approach the team - trying to get a word from each one of them, or at least some interesting quotations from them to be featured on the column. It was also easy to get a decent answer from Eunseok.
Tossing your dislike to the guy aside, his passion for the sports is obvious. It also didn't help he was the new apple of the eye of the sports and a word from him is necessary to garner interest on your paper. It was a decent interview and you probably already have enough material for your paper. You thanked Eunseok, acting as professional as possible. But the boy has a different plan.
“Hey! I'm picking you up at 6PM. Mom said we should come together.” He informed you, referring to the dinner your families planned.
“No thanks. I'll grab an Uber. Thanks for the offer though.” Your tone was indifferent, waving your hands at him as you walked away. But Eunseok won't just let you go that easily.
You haven't even made your 2nd step away from him when he grabbed you by the wrist. “Stop acting like a brat, Y/N. We both know I don't wanna do this as well.” He reasoned out, frustration is kind of evident in his voice.
“And stop trying to impress them. You should only ask me to come with you if you actually really mean it. They can play their own matchmaking game however they like. But it's not just working, Seok! Just let me be. I’ll grab an Uber.” You vocalize your thoughts. Eunseok was still looking directly into your eyes, unfazed by your words.
“Okay, let me drive you to dinner then. Just because I want to.” he rephrased his initial request, this time abiding by your words.
“Nice try, Seok! Good work on the fake sincerity tho, it almost got me.” You smirked at the said guy.
“You can't drive. Uber is expensive. I have an allowance for gas money sponsored by the varsity team. I think you're losing more than you're gaining anything from being stubborn, Squidy.” He reasoned out. Needless to say, it was tempting and you're broke. Eunseok really knows how to get into your head. “You can even pick the songs while on the drive.”
“You're good at this.” You said, slightly shaking your head with a disbelief smile on your lips. You can hear Eunseok's soft chuckles.
“Okay then, see you at 6PM sharp. If you're late, by even a second, I'm calling an Uber.” You finally folded.
“Whatever you want, your majesty.” You flipped him off as you walked away from him.
At this point, Ryujin was bewildered at what just happened. There's no way you and Eunseok are close, right? Close enough to have family dinners?
“What just happened?” Her eyes were wide open with shock written all over her face.
“So I guess I should explain then.”

“I wonder what he's going to write on your cup this time.” Your friend, Hanni, giggled as she opened the door to the cafe.
The cafe was a hotspot for uni students like you are. It was near the campus, very spacious, open until midnight, and the roasted coffee bean they brew seems to hit the right spot especially when pulling an all-nighter. Well, it also didn’t help that their baristas are cute. You count at least seven of them working on different shifts.
But one in particular piqued your interest. He just happens to work on a Saturday afternoon, a weekend shift - the perfect day to hangout at the cafe while preparing for the following school week’s presentations, papers, and whatever stuff you have to submit. You picked up his name from one of your long-hour stays in the cafe - Sohee. He has a head full of hair. He has two fangs peaking out when he smiles brightly. His face is dotted with moles that seemingly form a constellation if you look hard enough. He has a small stature - seemingly petite when right next to the barista he shares the same shift with - Anton.
The thing is, you haven’t really paid attention to Sohee before. He was just there and the rest of the baristas working there. Not until, Hanni started noticing details on your cups she claims only you have.
It started with a generic smiley face drawing with a “good luck on the exam week” note. Hanni pouted the whole day as she looked at her cup with nothing written on it but her name.
Then, start the plethora of corny pick up lines written on your cups.
Forget hydrogen. You’re my number one element. The day after you complained about this big chemistry test.
If you were ground coffee, you’d be Espresso cause you’re so fine. The one time you changed your order from a Vanilla Latte to a simple Espresso.
Are you a broom? Because you’ve swept me off my feet? That one random day you were cramming to get a paper done.
You know what’s on the MENU? It’s Me-N-U. When you hesitated about what to get as an order.
Are you a wifi? Because I am feeling a connection.
And the list continues for the past month or so.
Yes, the pick-up lines were corny at best. They were unoriginal and cringe but it is going to be a lie if you said it doesn’t make your heart flutter. With Hanni right next to you, complaining every single time about those cheesy lines, it’s hard not to feel special. And yes, you do notice the increasingly glances he spares your way and how he would clumsily drop what he was holding as soon as he makes eye contact with you. And gosh, you swore he’s the cutest thing ever.
“Hey man, get their orders.” Anton, who was originally in charge of the cashier, smirked as he pushed Sohee towards the register. The exchange between the two boys didn’t go unnoticed as he came face to face with you, flustered and blushing.
You giggled which made Sohee’s cheeks visibly turned into a brighter red.
“Good morning.” He greeted awkwardly. “Wh-what can I get for you today?” His soft voice was almost shaking.
“Can I have a pumpkin spiced latte?” You asked, smiling at him.
“S-sure.” He stuttered. .
“Cute.” You muttered under your breath. He caught on to it as he looked up, seeing you smile at him.
His eyes met yours for a brief moment before he abruptly looked away and proceeded to punch some buttons on his touch screen monitor clumsily.
The thing is, it was almost always Anton who got your order for you. He’s just nosy (or maybe attentive) enough to figure out which cup is yours. Hence, why Sohee seems so uncoordinated right now. Heck, he can probably count on one hand the amount of time he has ever spoken to you.
“And I’ll get a caramel macchiato.” Hanni said.
Sohee seems to be more composed this time as he took Hanni’s order.
He repeated your orders for confirmation and asked if you still needed anything, directing all the questions to Hanni, too shy to even look at your way.
“Hey so, it seems like there’s no one around yet. Can I ask for our order to be delivered in our seat instead?” Hanni requested.
“Sure, will do.” Sohee nodded, making a mental note to himself as he turned towards the bar helping
Walking towards your seat, Hanni giggled, “And that’s so he could give your order with all those cheesy lines directly to you.”
You gasped, teasingly shoving Hanni.
“No way, you did not!,” giggling at your friend’s antics.
As per usual, you and Hanni went to your spot - one that was near the window, close enough to the counter where you can look at Sohee once in a while but far enough to get distracted from the surge of the crowd waiting for their orders during rush. It gives the perfect amount of sunlight wherein the natural light cascades beautifully on the table but not bright enough to let the heat in.
Settling in, it didn’t take that long for your orders to arrive. And true to Hanni’s words, it was Sohee who carried the tray to your table with Anton nudging and wishing the boy good luck.
He awkwardly walked towards your seat, carefully placing the tray to your table.
He handed Hanni her order first.
And as soon as he was about to give you your cup, you shrieked.
“Oh my God! Is that a Naruto pin on your apron? That is so adorable.”
Rattled, Sohee miscalculated his motor movements as he slightly spilled your order on the table.
You gasped.
Hanni gasped.
Heck, you were sure you even heard Anton gasping.
“I’m sorry, I’ll get you a new one.” He bowed his head as he hurriedly wiped the table with a cloth he kept in his pocket. Anton hurriedly came to the rescue as he took over cleaning the spill. Sohee fervently apologized all over and over again before proceeding to run behind the counter.
The spill wasn’t that bad to be honest. Sure, your cup wasn't as full as it should be. But at least, nothing was harmed. It didn’t knock over your clothes, and neither did it get your things wet. But god, that was sure an awkward encounter. You’re not going to lie.
Your eyes went to the cup, catching a glimpse on the note written on it before Anton proceeded to take it.
I’d like to get to know you a latte.
You weren’t expecting Sohee to come back after being put in an embarrassing situation like that. You couldn’t help but to feel bad as you probably indirectly caused the spill. And your mood totally didn’t boost up as Anton delivered a new cup of pumpkin spiced latte. This time, with no notes written on it.
You didn’t see Sohee much that day.
Taking the matter in your hand, you went back the next day. You just wanted to check on the poor guy. You were alone, planning to order a to-go cup, check if he’s okay, and to proceed to go on your way.
It was obvious by the look on his face that he didn’t expect to see you today, let alone taking your order.
“Hey– ah, Good day! W-w-what can I get for you today?” He was even more flustered today than he was yesterday.
“I’d like a cup of iced caramel macchiato for to-go. Thank you.” You said, eyes wide and looking directly at him. Sohee seems to notice the extra attention you were giving him today.
“Sure, I’ll get that for you. Is that all you need?” He asked, eyes glued at the monitor in front of him.
“Yeah, actually about yesterday.” You started, frustrated with the lack of attention and disinterest from him.
This obviously caught his attention as he finally looked up, briefly meeting your eyes before he abruptly averted his gaze.
“Can I borrow your marker?” You didn’t wait for his response as you grabbed the marker in his hands.
Sohee couldn’t do anything but watch as you grabbed a tissue napkin from the pile by the counter, jotting down stuff he has no idea with.
“Here!” You handed him the napkin and the pen before quickly walking towards the order point.
Sohee was left there standing, confused and unsure - finally looking at the note on his hand.
I’d like to get to know you a latte too. Call me, xxx-xxxx-xxx -Y/N ♡
And it wasn’t too long before you heard your name being called.
“Iced caramel macchiato for Y/N.” Sohee announced, as he handed your order. This time, he didn’t avoid looking at you, smiling softly. You smiled back, getting your order from him.
Looking at the cup in your hand, you let out an even bigger smile. Waving shyly at him as you walked out of the cafe, proceeding to go on your way.
You’re pretty and I’m cute. Together, we’d be pretty cute.
for everyone asking for a part two, im not saying no to it but im gonna have to think of how to follow this up and i fear that might take a while unless i get very inspired 😅

wonbin knows he looks intimidating most of the time. it’s probably the cat-like facial feature acting out, or his mysterious aloof aura, matched with his natural introverted personality, or maybe it’s the combination of both. he was well aware of the impression people get upon seeing him. most of the time, this is a good enough reason to discourage people from approaching him —- which shows how his crazy fangirls literally only yap online about him but nobody really ever attempts to get close to him. however, this actually comes with a curse, a curse of actually never befriending anyone that easily. of course he has friends back at his hometown but he couldn’t exactly rely on them now as they don’t go to the same university at all. in his opinion, the closest friends he probably have right now are the band members. and if not for shotaro’s overly active extroversion, he probably won’t have any friends at all. if he thinks of it, nobody’s really extroverted in the band except for shotaro. he’s probably the sole reason why they all have found friendship in each other. y/n, on the other hand, is somewhat of an extrovert unlike her younger brother. at first, he was really shocked with just how fast she befriended him. honestly, sending y/n a twitter dm back then took him a lot of effort - he remembered erasing his message countless of times, retyping his dm, thinking of the proper words to say. but he eventually figured anton is a very good kid, and y/n’s probably the same, right? and so, he finally sent that dm.
but nobody prepared wonbin from what’s to come. nobody prepared him from having a fake girlfriend. nobody prepared him from actually being so close with his fake girlfriend. heck, nobody prepared him from falling in love with his fake girlfriend. and certainly, nobody prepared him from meeting his fake girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. and truth to be told, he definitely doesn’t really know what to do. wonbin hopes his intimidating character works right now, especially standing next to y/n as they come face to face with her ex-boyfriend. wonbin believes in the power of words but he doesn’t necessarily think words with her ex would heal y/n. wonbin believes in the power of words and he hopes this would be solved with just words, and words alone. but he doesn’t really have any faith in that sion guy’s characteristics. however, one thing’s for sure, he’s willing to do anything for y/n, even if it means throwing a punch if necessary.
sion arrived first. y/n chose to meet sion in the university’s cafe - finding comfort at the familiar interior and solace in the person next to her, the same person she frequents the cafe with. nobody’s daring to talk at all even as the waitress gave them their order. nobody’s daring to talk as y/n made a face to the waitress who is lowkey sending flirty remarks to his boyfriend - stating she asked the barista to add an extra whipping cream on wonbin’s frappe. y/n knows damn well the waitress knew they were dating from just how often they come here. perhaps, the presence of another party made her fearless. well, maybe wonbin isn’t that intimidating at all, is he? oh, he was doomed!!
as the waitress left, not before sending wonbin a subtle wink which didn’t come unnoticed to y/n and sion, it was actually the latter who finally broke the silence.
“oh well, that was awkward!” sion said before sipping on his hot americano. y/n can’t help but noticed just how different he is from wonbin. while sion prefers hot americano, the thought of drinking a hot bitter beverage will probably make wonbin shudder. while sion looks warm and wonbin cold, they made her feel the opposite - wonbin gave her the warm she craves for in the years sion left her frozen in time.
y/n quickly snapped out of her thought, this prompted her to continue with the conversation.
“so what do you want to talk about?” her tone was hostile and harsh. wonbin has never heard her talk like that.
sion cleared his throat before starting, “so how are you y/n?” y/n didn’t answer, eye looking straight ahead at sion. countless of swim meet had trained her to never get intimidated that much, not even when having a conversation with her ex-boyfriend. “so, you’re the boyfriend? park wonbin, right? you’re quite famous around here.” sion smiled, lightly chuckling at the guy. it doesn’t sound malicious tho, wonbin was sure of it.
this time, y/n was quick to reply, “im not interested in making small talk, sion” wonbin felt this conversation was something he shouldn’t interfere with, so he kept mum.
the smile on sion’s face faltered. he quickly realized how serious y/n’s tone was. straightening his body, and then sipping on his coffee, sion looked directly at y/n’s eyes this time.
“honestly, i don’t know where to start. i’ve been playing this entire scenario in my head for the last few months and they all turn out differently.” he sighed, eyes turning solemn.
“how about you start from back when you cheated on me.” even wonbin quivered at y/n. he has no idea she was this feisty, or maybe she really wasn’t and it’s just the effect sion has on it. wonbin doesn’t know which is which.
“i owe it to you to give you some sort of explanation, y/n. im not making any excuses for myself and my mistake, but i was young and immature.” sion started, staring down at his mug of coffee, trying to compose himself.
“you do realize how ridiculous that sounds to me right now, don’t you? cut to the chase and stop wasting our time!” y/n said. wonbin can hint the slight agitation on y/n’s voice.
“remember jaehyun? the 3rd year senior who recruited me on his basketball team?” y/n has a very detailed memory of who this jaehyun guy was. sion was infatuated with him and considered him as a role model/ y/n spent a bunch of time listening to sion singing praises to him.
“i found out his little sister had a crush on me, and so i thought it was a good opportunity to befriend her in order to get closer to jaehyun. it was a shitty move, y/n. i know.” wonbin felt y/n’s hand holding his. he knew that was his signal to comfort y/n.
“we grew closer and closer each day. and suddenly, the lines between what was real and what was not became blurred to me. i fell in love with her.” sion let out a big breath. though her expression remains neutral, wonbin can feel the slight shaking of her hands as he holds it tighter, squeezing in a comforting manner once in a while. “i didn’t wanna break up with you because i was so scared of losing you, losing what we have. i didn’t mean to hurt you.” he finished off, his chin down, seemingly bowing his head in dishonour. y/n was speechless.
“that’s bullshit!” y/n quickly turned her head to her side in surprise. it was wonbin. sion was shocked as well, as evident by how he quickly lifted his chin up to look at wonbin as well. “you know damn well nobody’s gonna win except your selfish ass the moment you start pursuing that other girl.” wonbin shook his head with a disbelieving smirk on his face. his piercing gaze sending daggers to the boy across them. “i really don’t care what sort of character development you underwent when you were overseas and why you’re looking for validation by asking y/n to meet up with you, but i think you’re just a manipulative sad boy who doesn’t care about the consequences of his actions.” he continued.
wonbin glance at y/n to see her lips starting to shiver. afraid sion’s gonna see her cry in front of him again, y/n lowered her face. Wonbin, at this point, can read y/n well enough to know she doesn’t wanna be there anymore.
“I think, that’s enough conversation for the day. don’t ever contact her again. have a nice day!” he grabbed y/n’s hands, prompting her to stand up, and put her things on his other arms as they exit the cafe together without looking back at sion.
as soon as they were far enough from the cafe, y/n broke down next to wonbin. her agonizing tears were enough to make wonbin’s heart crumble as she hold her dearly into her arms, vowing to protect her from any harm and heartbreaks.

anyways! does anyone wants to request some imagines, reactions, drabbles, or fake texts? need my creative juice to be challenged atm. down to write for all members (and seunghan)
the birds were already chirping when wonbin stirred awake. he was sure it’s definitely noon time. it was sunday anyways, he didn’t have to wake up early. with his eyes still closed, he turned sideways, bumping into a warm body in bed next to him. right, he almost forgot where he was. with his eyes now opened, his eyes carefully study the features of the girl next to him. her eyes are closed, mouth slightly agape, breathing is slow and rhythmic.
“you awake?” it’s her voice cutting the silence wafting the air. “if you’re hungry, there’s probably brunch downstairs. my parents won’t mind that you slept over. they know we’re dating, or at least that’s what they know.” she said while looking up at the ceiling, finding interest in the white monotonous walls. “but be careful of bumping to anton. he’s going to go berserk if he finds out you slept here.” at the mention of the younger’s name, wonbin felt his phone vibrate underneath the pillow. Great! speaking of the devil!
[1 message from Anton]
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE’S BACK AND HE’S BOTHERING YOU?” the boy, furious beyond words, entered the room without even bothering to knock. this is the loudest she heard anton speak and if she was in the mood for it, she would have probably already teased him.
“you told him?” there was no accusatory tone in her voice as she gently tried to understand what’s going on. she slowly turned her head to the side, looking at the big brown eyed boy next to her as he tried to sit up from where he was laying down. he was adorable really, and she would have probably cooed if she was one of his crazy fangirls
“do you even have plans on telling me about this?” anton said, obviously still mad, but with his voice modulation back to normal. “i honestly don’t” she said frankly. “I dont even know why wonbin told you.” she looked at wonbin and told him, “i confided to you in confidence, hoping you’re not going to tell anyone. especially not to this little brat over here.” wonbin noticed the disappointment in her voice.
“what do you want me to do then, princess? you were a mess last night. i was worried, okay? i had to tell chanyoung. I can’t see you like that again.” the sadness in his voice is palpable and sincere. she couldn’t stand being in here, it’s suffocating. she stood up and prepared to go to the bathroom, “whatever, im going to the pool. you guys can talk about this however you want,” she said as you left the two boys alone at her own room.
“you ought to follow her. she’s not going to talk to me about this at all. im at ease knowing at least you’re going to be there with her” anton said as soon as she left. wonbin nodded at the younger boy.
“give me some spare clothes and toothbrush tho”
“none of my clothes are gonna fit you”
“you’re not much bigger than me”
“have you ever thought about that before sleeping over here with nothing on your bag but your phone and a charger”
“have you ever thought about how my girlfriend, your sister, needs me?”
“fine. but you have to wash my clothes before returning it”
y/n was on her 8th consecutive laps when she decided to take a rest. as she took off her goggles, she saw a familiar figure walking at the other end of the pool. wonbin realizing that she noticed him, waves his hand as a greeting. y/n doesn’t have the best eyesight but she was pretty sure the boy was smiling at her.
“hi! how are you doing?” the boy shouted from the other end. y/n planned on full-on ignoring him when he shouted yet again, “i was sent over by your younger bro to entertain you!!”
“my mom said i used to dance at every family reunion, entertaining the masses, and then asking for a spare change afterwards. maybe i was born to provide amusement to everyone,” he said, still shouting. wonbin does have a knock on how to make y/n feel slightly better
he added, “why are you so far away? come here!” y/n chuckled as she wore her goggles again and dived back in the pool to swim at the other end. wonbin squatted as he watched y/n reappear from the pool with a smile on his face.
“did anton bribe you to come here?” y/n said as she heaved her body to sit on the poolside with her feet still in the pool. wonbin immediately followed, removing his shoes and socks as he sat down next to her. “nah, i was sent by anton but i came willingly.” he beamed at her. a comfortable silence surrounds the both of them as wonbin swings his feet underwater.
this time it was y/n who broke the silence. “you know sometimes, i feel so lost,” she started. That definitely piqued the interest of the boy next to her as he looked at her.
“sometimes i feel like i dont wanna swim anymore,” she continued, now taking of her swim cap. this shocked wonbin. for as long as he knew her, her whole life revolved around swimming. heck, even her day-to-day schedule is heavily dependent on her swim trainings. the shocked must have been evident on the boy’s face which prompted y/n to continue.
“i mean, it’s not like i don’t want to anymore. more like, it feels like im only doing this because it’s the only thing im good at.” y/n sighed.
wonbin softly sighed. “i was an athlete before, i did a lot of sports.” he revealed. y/n eyes widened at wonbin’s revelation. now, curious at his athletic background.
“you never told me that before? what sports?”
“mostly, track and field”
“wow! I have never seen you run” the amusement in her voice made wonbin chuckled.
“i also did fencing and taekwondo. my mom even made me swim because i had a childhood asthma” y/n’s jaw dropped as she looked at wonbin with wide eyes.
“wow! wonbin fun fact of the day: he has a weak lungs” the joyous sound of their laughter echoes along. “so if i throw you in the pool right now, you won’t drown” she teased, her eye full of mischief. wonbin immediately scoots away from her. he wasn't exactly sure if she’s just messing up with him.
“OH MY GOD! I WAS JUST JOKING!” y/n offended by his action, proclaimed in a loud voice. the laughter echoes, once again.
“so what pushed you to music?” y/n said while swaying her legs in the pool with wonbin following her action
“i honestly don’t know. im not exactly passionate with sports at all. but with music, it just feels right.” he wasn’t sure how to explain but y/n understood it anyways. “you know, i think you just need to rest, have you considered doing anything besides sports?”
“that’s the thing, bin! i’m scared!” y/n admitted with a soft voice. “i’m scared that this is the only thing im good at. like, what if i quit and then i realized i do not excel at anything at all? at least chanyoung knows he wants to pursue music more than this. but me, i dont have any interest at anything at all” wonbin felt the frustration in her voice.
“hey! don’t be too hard on yourself! you’ve been doing amazing and i feel like you dont realize it. and really, you can quit swimming if you want to, i’ll be here with you even if no else will” he sincerely told her, looking directly straight at her eyes. he can see the tears pooling at the side of her eyes.
“come here, you crybaby!” he put her arms around her
“you’re gonna be wet.” wonbin didn’t acknowledge her as he continues to hold her in his arms. y/n eventually put her head on his shoulder
“you know it was sion who told me i wasn’t exploring anything other than swimming. in hindsight, he was right” she said, her voice is so quiet that it almost seems like she’s whispering. “he was always spontaneous and adventurous, and told me he was going to study abroad, and learn new stuff. im not like him at all, maybe that’s why the relationship didn’t work”
“screw that guy! the relationship didn’t work because he cheated on you!” wonbin corrected y/n
“Yeah…. that” y/n hesitated but continued anyways. “maybe he cheated because i wasnt doing enough, i wasnt compatible enough with him, not adventurous enough. I think of those thoughts a lot more than i want to admit it”
wonbin removed y/n’s face from his shoulder and held her cheeks on his palms as he directly looked at her eyes “listen carefully, y/n! you're amazing. you're tough, hardworking, and passionate about the things you do. you're already perfect right now and you should never change just to fit the mold someone made. and you shouldn't be doing anything you uncomfortable with. most specially, no person should be allowed to make you feel that way, y/n!! no one!! not sion, not your brother, not your swim coach, not your friends. not even me, princess. it really sounds cliche but you are more than enough! you are doing well! and im always going to be proud of you regardless whether you wanna explore the world or not.” y/n was so close to tearing up as she proceed to bury her face on his chest, hugging him.
wonbin hugged her back. "you're such a crybaby, love." he chuckled. wonbin probably didn't notice the change in endearments but y/n did. she felt her heatt flutter as she tighter her hold on wonbin to make him feel closer to her.
“so what are you going to do now?” wonbin asked as he stroked y/n’s head, her hair still frizzy from the pool water.
“im thinking of meeting up to talk with him again. i just want some closure. does that make me dumb?” her voice is muffled but still understandable
“no, princess. that means you’re human and humans are allowed to have complicated feelings and feel conflicted.” y/n felt it - the slight graze of his plump lips to her forehead. it was quick and short but it was sweet. she can feel all of it - savouring the moment in her head.
“thank you, bin! you mean so much to me.”
and there was silence again as they enjoyed each other’s warmth and company.
