I haven't been around in a long time. Had to free up space on my phone, so Tumblr had to go. I've had a lot of work, ontop of mommying at home and life stuff. I'm grateful, but a lot of things have been on hiatus.
That said, I finally have more memory and was able to download Tumblr again. I'm staying up later than I should (again). Hubby is passed out next to me. I just finished my Bible Study and I am wishing my therapist were able to talk.
I just don't understand human sexuality. How it is a way to connect emotionally. Even though I see EVIDENCE of it creating a mental and emotional connection, I still don't understand. I think it's sort of sad how I can see the allegorical side of Song of Solomon and how our marriages reflect Christ's perfect sacrifice...yet I can't understand the actual physical, human desire part. Maybe I never will understand.
It's like in my mind, they're two separate entities. There's sexual intimacy, and there's emotional intimacy. There's marriage with comfort and connection and all that, and then there's the other part that still feels like the odd one out.
I am curious to see what the others say about this book of the Bible and how they view it. And I will be waiting for my next therapy appointment...
“Praise God for all the things that He is doing, but also praise God for all the things that we don’t know He is doing.”
— Ptr. Stephen Prado
I ask God to remove all bitterness and envy from within me. I ask God to allow my happiness for people to be pure and genuine. I ask God to cleanse me from all feelings that are in even the slightest tainted with pride and jealousy because it is these feelings that make the heart rotten and a rotten heart is too heavy for me to carry. Dear God, purify me.
Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:19
Restore us, O God; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. Psalm 80:3 NIV
In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

Whatever you may be worrying about tonight, it’s in God’s hands. He’s in control. Trust Him and rest in His presence. Night folks. -Mark https://ift.tt/383DaiS
“You ask ‘for what’ God wants you. Isn’t the primary answer that He wants you. We’re not told that the lost sheep was sought for anything except itself.”

“No man can expect to make progress in holiness who is not often and long alone with God.”

I don’t know a perfect person. I only know flawed people who are still worth loving.
