Well, I'm finally back in the office. I took some time off to sort everything out with the house. I just need to tell Elon and Walter now. Most of my belongings are packed away in boxes ready to move when our leases run up.

Speaking of which, Elon is well. Walter and I went with him to the doctor a few days after the Tiamat incident. He and the baby are alright don't worry. Recovery's been slow and steady, but we're all working through it.

Now that that's out of the way, I think I might as well announce it. I think it's time I close this blog. The guys might get an intern or someone to read their fanmail for them in the future. Who knows. I think I ought to stick to accounting though.

It's been a good ride. I can't thank everyone enough for the kindness they've shown me during my time here. I truly appreciate everyone and anyone I've interacted with. I would love to stay more, but I have a family to take care of now.

Hey y'all! Just wanted to make a quick post amidst the Tiamat plot stuff. First of all I want to thank everyone who has participated in this story. I couldn't have done any of this without y'all and I am deeply honored to collaborate with everyone through all this. I know it's a big plot with a lot of moving parts, so I want to thank everyone for being patient with me as I relayed information between everyone for a while. I also want to thank everyone who's been following along (or at least trying to) with the plot and interacting with the story when appropriate. I would also like to thank everyone for their patience as I know this final act is crawling at a snail's pace. Hopefully the end will come soon and provide a satisfactory conclusion to everyone.

That's all the positive I wanted to touch on. The rest of this will be sort of just me venting under the cut. No one is obligated to read it, and I will not be offended if you don't. That's why I'm putting it under the cut. ^^

I won't sugarcoat anything: This plot has been very stressful to me and this past week I've been an emotional wreck with more meltdowns in the past 7 days than I've ever had in my entire life.

I'm in a Ghostbusters Discord server where we have threads dedicated to discussing the rp blogs, and being active in those threads while I was trying to keep things together with my blog stressed me out immensely. I felt like I was pressured to give away plot details that weren't ready to be revealed because of the amount of questions people were asking me.

Now, I know nobody meant any harm in doing that. It's easy to ask those kind of questions when the author is right there. I think I know a little bit how Neil Gaiman feels being on this website lmao. I promise I am not mad at anyone or blaming anyone for my stress. It was simply a conflict of traits. Since leaving those specific threads, my morale has improved if only slightly.

To tell the truth, I have no idea what I'm doing. I had no idea I would get this far at all. I have no idea how to even end this story or at least end it in a way that makes sense and is satisfying. Sometimes I wonder if anyone even likes what I'm doing. I've come close to just deleting all my rp blogs more times than I care to admit. No one would notice anyway.

This isn't me looking for sympathy or pity either by the way. I just want to get my feelings out there in hopes that someone will understand.

I guess I'm just tired and I want this to be over. Would anyone even care if this never got resolved?

Tiamat has looked upon us with mercy, was willing to offer you the same, and you reject her graciousness as though you have the right to even breathe in their presence. I should kill you where you stand.

Should they provide the order, I will.

[His voice breaks on the last word, and for a moment he looks heartbroken and terrified. Only for a moment. Then, once again, he seethes and looks prepared to lunge at Louis.]

Miserable, worthless, purposeless fool.

To think her son's blood was spilt to create you.

[Louis's full attention was on Walter now. He feels his insides churn as Walter speaks. In that moment Walter cracks, Louis can feel his own heart break. That's all the proof he needed. Walter was never in control. He brought himself closer to his lover. His prince as he would often call him.]

I know you don't mean that. That deep down, you're fighting her influence as hard as you can. I know that this isn't what you want for yourself, for Elon, for me, ... for our child.

[Louis turned to face Tiamat once more.]

But I guess there's nothing else I can do. I don't have any equipment with me or any means to defend myself. I'm completely vulnerable. Suppose you'll have to kill me since there's no way I'm letting a god use me as a puppet ever again.

All I ask is that you don't hurt our kid. Please.

The slow, torturous deaths of all he cared for if the low whine of dissent in the back of his head ever grew loud enough for Tiamat to hear. More hot tears slipped down his cheeks.]

Their power is unspeakable. Their domain is chaos, may They reign forever in the glory of The End.

They’ve chosen us. Elon as Their vessel and I as Their king and servant. They’ve given us purpose.

"King and servant" Doesn't that sound a little backwards to you? I-I mean a king is, well he's a king! He uh shouldn't have to lift a finger to do anything for himself! And-and-and yet you're having to serve them? So what so that you don't die as quickly as everyone else?

[He desperately wanted, no, needed to be by Walter's side. To hold him and bring him back to reality. But his feet were as though they were nailed to the floor.]

Walter, I don't know what they've promised you or what purpose you think they're giving you, but it's all a lie! You're crying for Pete sake! I haven't seen you cry like this since... since... since we got back from Florida.

[He fell to his knees.]

I know you both can hear me. The real Walter and the real Elon I mean. I'm gonna get you both out of this. Somehow.

The Real Elon? How do you know what the real is and isn't, Mister Tully? How do you know this human so well, or you only think you do.

( tiamat in elons body moved away from walter and began to pace the room while keeping their eyes trained on louis the entire time )

I have seen his thoughts, he was so easy to mold like clay. They key to breaking any weak link is to find the cracks. He worried so deeply about fitting into this cozy world, invading and desperately clinging, forcing his way into this circle.

He was smart, but not as smart as his brother and all those like him. He was kind, but not as kind as Janine and Faye. He was hardly brave, not to hold a candle to you, Tully, or his dear Rocket. He was aggressive but without purpose, and lacking empathy, unlike Walter. Everyone he has met here has a purpose. He is untethered. It was easy.

( they released a heavy sigh that glimmering like embers blown free by bellows )

But he was still so stubborn. Faced with his own reality and he refused to budge. I simply had to tweak his reality to reflect his fears, to reflect the fragility and inevitability around him.

[His eyes remained fixed on Tiamat as she glided across the room back and forth. He didn't realize it, but he was shaking. Whether from fear or anger? He couldn't say.]

So you lied to him. You lied and manipulated your way inside. You cheated. I've only known Elon for a few months, but that's definitely longer than you have. I know enough about him to know he trusts me. He loves me.

He may not be a physicist like Egon, but there are things about this world that Elon knows that I doubt anyone else here would know. Things worth living to see. Things worth fighting for. You don't know the extent of his kindness either! You don't know the things he's said or what he means to me. You don't know his bravery like I do. How he ran halfway across Manhattan just to save Walter all while wearing heels and carrying me!

I can't speak for his empathy, but you don't know about his compassion for others. No one starts a non-profit for the wellbeing of the environment just because they feel like it. You know none of these things because you don't know the real Elon at all.

[A wobbly attempt to get to his feet.]

Purpose. Humans don't need to have purpose to be important. They don't need to be accomplished to matter or to be worth anything. But sure, uou think he doesn't have purpose. Well I can say with certainty that Elon Spengler has more purpose in his pinky than you could ever hope to see, Tiamat!
