*Love Amelie Design - The Beginning*

"I suppose I can thank my 'imagination' for the idea of Love Amelie Design! I am a dreamer and always have been since I was a little girl. I used to day dream about *magical* worlds where everything was so beautiful and pretty.....just what every little girl wishes for! I always wanted 'that world' to be a reality but realistically, it wasn't. We all grow up learning how much bad there is in the world and are constantly reminded of it in the Media. This I hated, and it always brought me back to thinking of that place I used to dream about. And so really, this is where Love Amelie Design began.......I wanted to inject a bit of ‘goodness’ into people’s lives with fun and colour and make them smile by the things I had made! Love Amelie Design captures the essence of that *magical* world".

Young Entrepreneurs Feature "To think I began Love Amelie Design as a light hearted hobby 2 years ago, I would say I have achieved an awful lot since then. I have progressed Love Amelie Design to a business level, incorporating the business as a private limited company registered in England and Wales. I have designed a logo for Love Amelie Design, printed business cards, flyers/posters, tags for the products and set up an e-mail sign-up for the Love Amelie Design mailing list for continuous promotion. I have become fully aware of the power of social media and the use of social networking websites, and have therefore used the likes of Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Windows Live, connecting the accounts to promote my business. In addition, I have set up my own website so customers can view products, learn all about what the business is about, and what I am personally about, with regular updates, event information, copyright, and trademark information, as well as setting up a business email address. I have registered Love Amelie Design with google maps, to further promote the business. I have moved into events, taking Love Amelie Design to the next level, travelling round the country, exposing the range to people further a field at Vintage fares/ design events, displaying my products in shops and promoting my label". Good Afternoon!

Good Afternoon, I say in need of more enthusiasm and with tired eyes....not a very good nights sleep was had!

Another day where I roam my somewhat overloaded mind, filled to the brim with ideas and inspirations. I'm trying to make sense of all that goes on in there....will I ever! A bumpy ride to start perhaps it may be, but I'll travel a smooth road eventually.
